"What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. "The most amazing and scenic place I’ve ever stayed. Tent was gorgeous with stunning view with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The amenities on site were great, toilets and showers were so clean and kitchen facilities were great with so much outdoor seating. There is a pool table and darts board as well as board games. The hot tub was amazing also. Would highly recommend Glenayr farm for a couples get away or even for a group of friends who could stay in one of the 4 villas on site. "

"The area was nice and quiet with just the sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees. Amenities were good. Bedrooms were really small and the cabin was a bit dated particularly the bathroom which also was very small. Bed was a bit hard for my liking, but sheets were clean and crisp."

"Having lived on a similar rural acreage for close to 40 years we had some idea of what to expect. This stay far exceeded our expectations, a stay of only two days. Upon arrival instantly approached by the host, Robbie, a most charming and obliging host. There is nothing that is not supplied in the way of food, beverages and household amenities. To arrive there is as much as arriving at home. Top marks for Robbie's hospitality. 5 stars!"

"Great food & drink options at the pub underneath the accommodation, friendly helpful staff and the room was clean and comfortable......BUT.....OMG.....it was the night from hell with all the noise from the pub below and the customers loud drunk voices coming from inside the pub and also outside the pub under my room at the front of the pub until nearly 4am!! The pub is open until 2am on the Thursday night I stayed, but groups of people were still partying on in the main street outside the pub...

"The kitchen was better equipped than ours! Nothing lacking that I could see. All good quality fixtures and utensils. Excellent bathroom. Large bedroom, pentry of storage space, seating, work space and charging options. Very suitable for a 1 week stay, bit of overkill in my case for a single night. "
