A newly built beautiful 2 bedroom / 2 bath Modern Wood Cabin complete with hot tub and double glazed windows and set in a private, peaceful, gated community about 1 mile from the shops & restaurants of Maggie Valley or 15 minutes from historic Waynesville. The property overlooks the babbling creek and there is a view of the mountains to both the left and right of the deck. There is parking space by the front door for two vehicles, and the property benefits from full air conditioning, heating, and ceiling fans in all the main rooms. On the large timber mantle piece, rests a 42 inch LCD Flat Screen HD ready cable TV connected to DVD and switch box to allow easy connection for X Box, Play Station3 or other game equipment as well as internect connection.

Nice cabin

Quiet area, nice fire pit, ac working. No issues like mentioned in previous reviews. Described well. Housekeeping should be checked once in awhile. Bathroom showers looked like they sprayed cleaner and left. Black residue on floor of downstairs shower . That’s not the owner’s fault. Overall great place to stay.

Cozy cabin

The cabin is on a nice hill side, was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the oversized deck with our cocktails. I would recommend to anybody staying in Maggie Valley.

Our Fall mountain getaway in Maggie Valley, NC

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay in Maggie Valley. The home was clean and the fireplace was very nice. The hot tub was fun too. All the appliances worked at expected, the glassware and dishware were quite adequate. The rear deck with the hot tub faces east, so we were able to enjoy the rise of the full moon over the mountains during our stay. The only downside was that someone else in the valley has dogs that bark, alot, and the sound of them barking could be easily heard, every night throughout the valley. Other then that, I love Maggie Valley and that whole general area and will return.

Thanksgiving 2022

Wonderful setting , house was well equipped and satisfied all our needs . Could update the comforter in master bedroom . But had a wonderful time with family . Hot tub was cozy, setting on front porch heating the creek flow was awesome . The fire pit areas with picnic tables was a wonderful added pleasure !!

Great location. House was quite comfortable. Hot tub great. Furnishings were ok. Hunting dogs across the entry road barked a bunch at all hours. That being said I would stay there again.

Thanksgiving getaway 2021

Water splash is a beautiful cabin that was close enough to Dollywood in Gatlinburg Tennessee that we could easily travel to and from and visit family in Canton North Carolina. It is cozy but could use some upgrades in the bedding and furniture. I like a firm mattress but these could use toppers for comfort. The oversize recliner would not recline. The fireplace is advertised but not available for use.

Perfect for Family of 4/more than enough space for 2 families

Great family stay. Loved the fire pit and board games. All kitchen pans and dishes/utensils you might need. Great location-close to TONS of hiking trails, great views, good food, and local brewing/distilleries.

Beautiful Mountain Home

Beautiful home. You can sit on the private back porch and hear the creek. It is not so loud, that you can't have a conversation. Convenient to everything. We love staying in Maggie Valley and will be back soon. Hopefully we can rent this cabin again.

It was beautiful. We were safe. Need some steps from the cabin to the gazebo and fire pit. Need some new furniture. Would have loved to be on the balcony and see the mountains, but the fresh were in the way. A bigger TV would have been nice. We were able to get on wifi and watch tv. Bigger tubs. Please don't get me wrong, we enjoyed it there. Just needs some tweaking. A pool for the kids would have been nice

House is good just needs to be revamped. All furniture very uncomfortable and broken. Toilets broken / no grill can be used. I’ve stayed in vrbo s / this one the worse. Owner needs to redo all insides.

PEACE IN THE VALLEY AND FUN TOO

First off, the pictures really do not do the place justice. Its such a cute place and a very nice neighborhood. It was perfect for my family of four. The kids had the upstairs to themselves. There is a double bed and a day bed with a full bathroom upstairs. We loved the porch that overlooks the stream that runs through the neighborhood. The stream is so pretty and I just love the sound it makes. We had everything we needed, two bathrooms, washer and dryer and wi-fi. My only complaints were the master bedroom mattress could use a topper to make it more comfortable and the towels could be updated. They were scratch and a little threadbare. We did hear the dogs that some reviews mentioned but the sound didn't bother us and more important, we didn't hear them at night and I'm a light sleeper. The location is perfect. Maggie Valley is perfect for a base place to stay. Waynesville is close by with bigger grocery stores like super Walmart and I love Ingles (please bring those to Florida). Waynesville has great restaurants you must go to Sweet Onions -we ate there twice it was so good. There is a bar-b-que place called Haywoods that is fantastic! Also nearby is Bryson City. This is a must. We did the train ride, white water rafting (Wild Waters is my favorite outfitter) and the best is going tubing at Deep Creek in the national park ($20 bucks for 4 tubes and so much fun! But don't forget your water shoes for that one) I cannot begin to describe how beautiful this creek is and how much fun we had here. Also close by is Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We loved the National Park. We had some good elk sightings in the park. Our favorite thing is to pack a picnic lunch and find a hike. In Maggie Valley the Brickhouse Pizza is the best. Their pizza is fantastic but so is the rest of the menu. Watersplash was a great base for our smoky mountain vacation and we'd definitely go back if we are ever in the area again.

Great Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this lovely house while attending a wedding in Maggie Valley. It is in a great location close to Cherokee. Several golf courses close by that we like to play. Highly recommend this property.

Very Nice

We stayed at Watersplash in August 2018 and it was very nice. The pictures don't show how pretty it is. We enjoyed the creek down the hill, it's sound was very soothing. Check in was easy, the house was clean and well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. If I had to say anything bad, I would say the furniture is well worn and the hot tub cover needs to be replaced. The cover is broken and the rain has soaked in and it is very hard to move. I heard the dogs that others have mentioned, but they were not a problem. All in all it was a very nice stay.

Loved the cabin! Really enjoyed listening to the water flowing over the rocks in the stream.

The cabin was everything you could ask for. Very spacious and cozy. Loved the high ceilings and the view from the deck of the stream. I would suggest memory foam mattress topper for the king size bed. Otherwise would have given five stars.
