Deluxe&brand new apartment in Puerta del Sol:
This is a new and upscale apartament, refurbished with the best qualities. It's 3 minutes away (by foot) from Puerta del Sol. Basically, the perfect place for your home in Madrid.

The space

The apartment is located in the FIRST floor (ground + 1 floor) of a walk up building (like most buildings in central Madrid, there is NO ELEVATOR). The apartment faces a pedestrian gallery, this ensuring no street noise during your night rest.

Guest access

The apartment, furniture and amenities are all new. It has:

*Bedroom with a queen sized (150 cm x 200 cm) bed, and closet.

*Living room with dining table for 4 and sofa bed (that can be turned into a super comfy double bed suitable for 2 adults -140*200cm-) and a 45 inches TV.

*Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook and eat: stove, microwave with grill, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, and more.

*Laundry area with washing machine (with laundry soap provided!) and dryer.

*A true deluxe bathroom with marble floorings and walls, two headed shower and 2 sinks.

* Wi-Fi is also available; we know that’s essential! ;)

*Air conditioning

*Baby cot is availble under demand with a 15€ extra fee.

Top end fresh linen and towels are provided, as well as an iron, hair dryer, etc. We also provide maps and information on Madrid as well as basic kitchen ingredients. One set of hand towel and shower towel per person per stay up to 7 nights will be provided. If more are required, there will be a charge of 10 euros per set.

No smoking in the apartment. In case of smoking, we will charge €100 as penalty.

If you think there is something missing, we'd be happy to have your feedback in order to continue improving the apartment.

Absolutely terrible stay. A few notable things: 1. The worst sofa bed mattress ever - you could feel the frame and springs even as someone who was only 100 lbs. 2. The power and alarms kept tripping off at random, requiring us to find the power panel and reset at least twice a day. 3. Poor sound insulation. While the house was in a quiet alleyway, we could hear anybody walking out softly talking in the hallways. This was a pain in the night, even with a sound shelter like me 4. Temperature control was non existent. The A/C would turn off after a set period of time at night - I suspect there was some occupancy sensor that shuts it down. 5. Hard to open closets in the kitchen and bedroom. 6. Poor communication: neither the host nor the emergency service line was easy to get to when we ran into issues. Has to spend over 30 minutes twice trying to find a solution. Overall, I would not recommend it to anyone who is looking to actually enjoy time in the property beyond a few hours during the day.

the place is dark, no views, but good location. we needed a sofa to sleep and it was so old and broken that sleeping on it was not possible. very old bedding.

Apartment next to Puerta de Sol

This apartment is two minutes from Sol which means it is 10-15 minutes walk from almost all the main attractions in Madrid city centre. Very quiet at night and easy access with the App. Cheuca and Letras districts are excellent for bars and restaurants.

Enjoying Madrid in Fall

We stayed at this property for 8 nights and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. You can beat location if you will be doing a lot of traveling by train or metro. The apartment is compact but had everything we needed. Pro; location. Con: Evenings a little seedy around neighborhood. Also can be very loud at night until 11:30 pm because of the business below apartment. Also beware of the gates on either side of building they are closed at 10:00 pm and don’t open until 10:00 am You need a key to get in. If you forget key you are out of luck. Dryer in apartment is awful and will take 1/2 day to dry your clothes. But overall decent place to stay if you want to save some money but be comfortable this place is it.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, modern apartment. It’s a bit smaller than the pictures would suggest, but had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-supplied and the washer/dryer were great. The location can’t be beat -. Gran Via and the metro are just up the street and Sol a short walk in the other direction, but we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, including the art museums.

Great stay

The apartment was centrally located. It was near most of the main attractions, restaurants and tapas bars. I was able to communicate with the owner from beginning to end. The owner provided detailed instructions regarding the apartment which made everything smooth. The owner was available at all times and easy to reach through Whatsapp. The apartment was very clean and in great condition. I would recommend this location to friends and family. Look No Further!

Great hosts, quick and easy communication. Greeted us upon arrival and even set up transportation to the airport! The apartment is newly updated, comfy bed, well appointed kitchen. The washer and dryer were a huge bonus! Location location location…. Close to everything! Loved it! Thank you for a great stay in Madrid, would stay there again!

Gracious hosts and a wonderful welcome

Our thoughtful hosts did an excellent job of welcoming us to Madrid by arranging an honest taxi who provided us with the keys and a brief guide on our way to the property. It is in a very popular area with markets, restaurants, and public transportation nearby. We felt very fortunate to have discovered this part of Madrid.

Clean flat and great location

Besides the big heavy outside door that was a little hard to open, this place was incredible! Outside alley way has 2 doors that lock late at night, and a few shops/restaurants. The flat is very comfortable for a couple, and the appliances - washer/dryer and AC - work great and are nice features. The price is very reasonable as well. If we're ever back in Madrid - we would consider staying here again!
