Casa Alfonso is an old hairdresser converted into a bright and spacious apartment, recently restored recovering the original mirrors and decorated with unique pieces of Spanish crafts. The house integrates three rooms connected to each other: a living room with a balcony, a bedroom with a balcony, a second living room / living room with a spectacular kitchen and dining island. In addition, it has a spacious bathroom, the jewel of the house, completely renovated with traditional elements and Spanish Macael marble floor.

Recently renovated, in 2018/2019, it has all the advantages of a modern and well-equipped home. Care has been taken to the smallest detail, preserving the spirit of “Madrid of a lifetime”.
Pets will be welcome, provided they are clean and polite.

Apartment Features:
The apartment is accessed through its own entrance with electronic lock and a small hall.
Then there is a large area divided into four spaces:

• Bedroom with double bed for 2 people with balcony
• Living room with sofa bed for one person with balcony
• Room 2 with kitchen island and living room with single bed with window to a patio
• Bathroom with two windows to the patio.

The kitchen island is fully equipped and has a large marble countertop. All appliances are top brands. We provide the basics for cooking: a selection of teas and coffees, organic sugar and salt, paprika and Spanish olive oil, balsamic vinegar. The traditional natural wood dining room can accommodate up to 6 people.

The bathroom has been conceived as an oasis of calm and beauty. It has especially large dimensions (both in m2 and ceiling height), and has an enameled iron bathtub. We offer soap, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion.

The house textiles are 100% natural (cotton and linen) and of excellent quality. In addition to the sheets, towels and kitchen textiles, mattress covers and bedspreads are also changed for each new guest, thus generating a great feeling of freshness and cleanliness.

The apartment is located in a beautiful tree-lined street in the center of Madrid in the attractive neighborhood of Malasaña. The fashionable place of the Spanish capital, full of cafes, restaurants and theaters.
A 5-minute walk is Alonso Martinez Square, the best area of Madrid to wander around and discover small fashion shops, restaurants and bars with a lot of charm. In the western part is Count Duque, which receives its name from the great pink fort that houses in its center and has become a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. The fabulous museums of Madrid are 10 minutes away: the Prado, the Reina Sofía and the Thyssen.

Transport:
Casa Alfonso is only 2 minutes from the Bilbao and San Bernardo Metro. Several bus lines pass Carranza and Fuencarral streets that connect with the different museums and sites of interest. In addition, Madrid offers Bicimad, a public bicycle rental service with bike stations throughout the center of Madrid. There are two stations less than 1 minute from the apartment.
Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport is 30 minutes away. .
The apartment does not have parking, but there are public car parks in the area (2 min).
