The house was exceptionally clean and well cared for. It was awesome to stay in a historical old Victorian home. You can tell that Eileen really cares about her property, everywhere is manicured nicely. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Eileen was wonderful and the place was great! The house was very clean, with decorations which made it feel warm, and we loved the grounds also. It was a bonus to be able to visit all the animals. Eileen was helpful with information and also fun to talk to.

Beautiful home and wonderful host! We were in town for a wedding. So much to do right at the house. Curated trails with a fairy garden and bear statues, a horse named “Rabbit” who loves carrots! Views for miles! Sunrises over the blue ridge mountains right outside your window. You can tell that Eileen wants you to have the best stay! Definitely recommend staying here and we are ready to return some day for some fishing

We visited in October and the leaves and valley were beautiful with vibrant colors as far as the eye could see!The home was perfect to serve as a launching point to visit Monticello, explore Skyline drive and relax away from the busy city. The hot tub on the back porch was a highlight as we soaked in the evening looking over the valley. Beds were comfortable and allowed us to recover from daily activities. Highly recommend and will stay again someday!

Rented for our son’s civil ceremony, it was the perfect home base to have as we spent time in Luray and hiked Shenendoah. The host was incredibly gracious. She even came out and mowed the yard so we could have pictures out there!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed staying at this house, the house is big and very well maintained. The host was very friendly and easy to get to. We miss the horse Rabit.

House description and photos are accurate and Eileen is a nice host. We enjoyed the walking trails and feeding the horse, the view, and proximity to Luray Cavern and wineries. WIFI is really slow and TVs are older so you’ll need a fire stick or similar and patience with streaming delays.

Wonderful Weekend!

This is every millennial girl’s dream house! Beautiful home with the most unique floorplan. Tons of room and a gorgeous location. We even got to feed Rabbit the horse some carrots before we headed home! We will definitely visit again!

Perfect weekend getaway

The house had everything we needed plus some. Everything was well-maintained and in working order. The location was perfect for getting into town, the caverns and hiking. I wish we had more time!

Great Homebase for Local Wedding

My three sisters with spouses rented the house for my daughter's wedding. Great place for a large group - 10. Wonder and really beautiful house. Lots of space and lots of windows. Kitchen large - great appliances

Spacious Luxury in Beautiful Shenandoah Valley!

What a wonderful find! This was the perfect getaway for our family of five in Luray. Plenty of space for everyone, nice and clean, gorgeous scenery all the way around, and close to town and activities. We were within 30 minutes of Skyline Drive, horseback rides, and rafting, and less than 10 minutes from Luray Caverns and restaurants. Eileen was a wonderful host and a pleasure to meet. We’ll be back someday!

Fabulous stay!

Skyline Meadow is the best VRBO we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many! Location is serene and gorgeous; yet, convenient to Luray restaurants, caverns, and Shenandoah National Park (Thornton Gap entrance). Eileen is an incredible, thoughtful, and responsive host and she provides everything you could need during your stay. She sells fresh eggs from her chickens and she even made me a baby aloe plant! Highly recommend and we will be back!

Everything you need and more!

Perfect Cousins weekend! We were a group of 5 cousins who had not seen each other in 5 years and had a little reunion. Eileen was a great host and had everything we needed for our stay. The property was very well kept, we enjoyed the Mountain View’s of the Sunrise and Sunset and also the hot tub under the stars! It was so nice to stay at a VRBO and not have to bring all the necessities like coffee, sugar and everything else! Eileen even came up to the house and took a group shot of us before we left!

Weekend wedding

2 families with children aged 3-12, in town for a family wedding. This house is very clean, organized and well maintained. There is space, a lot of space which was so nice to have in such a beautiful setting. The land, views, rabbit the horse and everything about our stay was perfect. Eileen, the host is on top of everything! She makes it very easy to stay in her home. We all truly enjoyed our weekend! Thank you!
