Fantastic stay, the property is beautiful and fully stocked for everyone to do something!The firepit in the back is gorgeous and you get great visibility of the stars.The only issue we had was that the water smelled like sulfur and it was pretty intense especially in the shower.

Family an friends getaway

This was our third visit to Acorn Grove and we are already looking forward to our next stay. The house is perfect for large groups. Stocked with an unexpected amount games and activities for both kids and adults. Close proximity to public beach, excellent outdoor fire area, and garage with pool / ping pong table is great in case of rain.

Acorn Grove Long Weekend

We stayed with 5 adults and 3 young kids (all 5 and under) and there was more than enough space for all of us. The house had everything we needed! Owner was easy to communicate with via text and through VRBO for any questions.

Cozy Home, great place.

Enjoyed our stay at Acorn Grove. Home was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our family. Enjoyed the books, games, pool table, and campfire pit. Close to plenty of fun places for day trips. Easy check in and check out process.

Quiet, secluded cottage in the woods!

Our annual long weekend getaway trip was hosted here at Acorn Grove! Our host was AMAZING, answered all our detailed questions leading right up to the day of the trip. The cottage was just as charming as the pictures show. Felt like we had plenty of privacy from neighbors. Spent a lot of time in the garage with the pool table and tons of other outdoor game options. About 10-15 minutes to downtown Pentwater, scenic drive. It was hard to get cell phone service even with connecting to the wi-fi but that's often true for lakeshore properties. Also couldn't get the streaming services (apps) to work on the living room TV on our rainy day but the den TV worked better. Loved the beach access nearby "Cedar Point" park. Thanks for the great stay!

Amazing property

We loved our stay! The rental had everything we could possibly need, and a very short drive to the beach to watch the sunset. The pool table and darts in garage entertained the teenagers. Thank You!!

excellent family vacation

This house was amazing for our group of 8 (2 families of 4). Kids ranged from ages 5-9 and the property was just perfect for them to explore in the woods and the lofts were their favorite hideaway. We used the pole barn daily for activities and the owners stocked this place WELL with stuff we needed. Super clean and modern spaces. Great location, and great times were had. We will revisit!
