"Stop your Daintree hotel search, just book DWL - you won't regret it! It is a lovely boutique, micro-resort perfectly situated in the Daintree. Cabins/rooms are a stunning oasis. Serene and relaxing (though the critters can be loud at night). There are only eight cabins in total, so the property is always quiet, with very little human traffic roaming about. Staff are fantastic. Sasha seems to run a one-man show with support from a few others in the background. He offered many suggestions...

"I loved the tropical and central garden of the hotel. Staff are superb, especially under the pressure of a busy property. My room was perfect. Comfortable, cool, a great shower/tub + all amenities of an apartment (stove, over, half-fridge, dishwasher and laundry). It’s a very family-oriented resort with kids filling the pool most of the day. That’s a light negative for me, perhaps a plus for you! ;)"

"I didn’t realise how central it is to everything - the beach, yoga, shops, cafes, restaurants, mariner. I felt safe, loved the room and the gorgeous wildlife that I could see everyday and night from my balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool and shared BBQ area was perfectly positioned for sun and shade. "We had an excellent stay at this boutique apartment and felt at home the moment we walked in. The place was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and air conditioning in every room.
