A superb, luxury villa set in a backdrop of mountains, with countryside and sea views. Relax in the swimming pool under the night sky and take in the aromas of nature our villa has to offer. Peach, lemon, orange trees, vines, Plum tree surround the villa in a peaceful location and it is perfect for contact with Mother Nature. Villa Isabel is located in the idyllic village of Parragil, only a 15 minute drive to warm sandy beaches and 20 minutes to Alte. In the center of Parragil, you can find cafe and 2 small food shops. The Portuguese traditional town market of Loule is a 5-10 minute drive, where you can find traditional restaurants, bars, banking, post office facilities and shops. The castle and all monuments, Mae Soberana church is located at the top of a hill which has amazing 360 degree views of the mountains, town and sea.

Excellent outside space

Had a lovely 10 days here. The outside space at the villa was massive and lots of space to sunbathe even with lots of people! Owner was lovely and easy to contact for a few issues we had. Definitely need a car but if you are looking for a base to explore Western Algarve then this is ideal

Wundervoller Urlaub

Wir haben jede Minute genossen, es ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern! Die Küche ist insgesamt sehr gut ausgestattet (jede Menge Töpfe und Pfannen in allen Größen!), der Boiler gibt zwar etwas gewöhnungsbedürftige Geräusche von sich, funktioniert aber. Der Pool und die Aussicht von der oberen Terrasse sind einfach traumhaft. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, um die Algarve zu erkunden, da man schnell auf der Autobahn ist. Das große Bett ist tatsächlich etwas hart, die Auflagen der Gartenmöbel sollten ersetzt werden und ein paar kleinere Reparaturen in den Badezimmern (einige Fliesen sehen nicht mehr ganz so schön aus) müssten vielleicht auch mal gemacht werden, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt insgesamt einfach sehr gut! Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben und würden dieses Haus sofort wieder buchen!

Cadre calme et agréable, un peu à l écart du tumulte des grandes villes de la Côte.

Maison bien agencée et bien équipée (lave linge, lave vaisselle, cafetière à capsule, micro chaine, 3 télés, et climatisation dans chaque pièce sauf cuisine, barbecue, fil pour le linge... ) Grande piscine bien exposée et très agréable. La piscine est accessible par un escalier équipé d'un portillon,idéal pour la sécurité des enfants. Place de parking dans l'allée ombragée. Hôte disponible et reactive + contact sur place en cas de soucis. Maison située dans un petit hameau, voiture indispensable. Nous avons passé un très bon sejour, nous gardons l'adresse sous le coude au cas où...

The property and the outdoor area was bigger than I thought based on the pictures. Everything was clean and neat. Easy accessible from the highway Only small thing was some basic essentials missing but no biggie since Lidl only 10min away and a few euros. Would definitely come again

Espectacular!

Localização e casa excepcionais! Para passar umas férias descansadas não há sitio mais agradável. Muito seguro para quem tem crianças pequenas, a piscina está na parte de cima e separada por um pequeno portão. Também toda a área da casa está super segura. Voltaremos sem duvida!

Altos e baixos da propriedade

O espaço exterior da casa é muito agradável com uma ótima piscina. A casa é agradável mas tinha alguns problemas: O estrado da cama da suite está partido o que significa que é muito desconfortável dormir nesta cama. A torradeira faz disparar o quadro eléctrico e as misturadoras dos duches não funcionam bem o que significa que a água ou está fria ou a ferver. À parte disto, gostámos muito da casa, especialmente de todo o espaço exterior que é excelente para se fazer as refeições.

A evitar

Ar condicionado avariado num dos quartos. TV avariada na suite. Inadmissível TV com 7 canais. Limpeza da casa muito fraca, com pássaro morto no jardins, debaixo da camas muitas sujidades, aparelho de sumo na cozinha partido, papel higiénico nas WC básico meio rolo cada, lençóis de muito fraca qualidade, colchas cheias de pêlos, etc, etc.

Enjoyed our stay in Parragil!

We had booked Villa Isabel for a month but unfortunately had to leave in a hurry after a couple of weeks when the coronavirus hit and the borders began to close. The layout of the property worked really well for us with a big comfortable lounge/diner and a big kitchen. The patio is a real suntrap and even in February/March we could use the lovely pool on the warmest days. We had our dog with us so the enclosed nature of the prooerty was great. The Smart TV with UK box was good, especially keeping us in touch with the coronavirus news in the situation, and we were able to log into our Netflix for the dark February evenings. We could plug our IPod into the very good stereo for music so we weren't short of entertainment! Parragil is a very quiet location with great views down to the sea, which suited us, but only 5-10 minutes from Loule, a great town with a fabulous food market, and only 20 minutes from the coast. The whole Algarve is easily accessible from the motorway which is only a few minutes drive. The caretaking is a bit lowkey and we had to buy cleaning products and do some cleaning when we arrived but then we were very happy. Isabel, the owner, was extremely helpful in sorting out a couple of technical problems which arose while we were there and then in liaising with us over the coronavirus when the lockdowns started. We very much regretted having to leave early due to the international situation and look forward to returning when the world returns to some form of normal.

Schöner Urlaub mit Startschwierigkeiten

Was schlecht begann, wurde hinten heraus zu einem sehr schönen Urlaub... Bei Ankunft mussten wir leider feststellen, dass das Haus noch nicht vorbereitet war und noch so aussah wie es vom Vormieter übernommen wurde (Hier gab es offenbar ein Kommunikationsproblem zwischen Isabel und dem Reinigungsdienst, kann passieren). Nach mehreren Stunden der Anreise ist das natürlich das letzte was man möchte, insbesondere weil wir mit kleinem Kind gereist sind. Isabel war jedoch sofort für uns erreichbar und sicherte zu, dass noch am selben Abend die Reinigung erfolgen soll. Da es bereits früher Abend war, quartierten wir uns kurzerhand woanders ein. Isabel übernahm hierfür bereitwillig die Kosten, vielen Dank nochmal! Am nächsten Tag konnten wir dann planmäßig das Haus beziehen. Toller Außenbereich, Poolbereich und Terrasse mit wirklich sehr schöner Aussicht, super funktionierendes W-Lan! Große Küche mit allem was man braucht. 1 Stern Abzug weil das Haus grundsätzlich von der Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig lässt. Das Geschirr, welches wir benutzten, haben wir vorher noch einmal spülen müssen, Bettwäsche war teilweise mit Flecken versehen, Boden auch eher dreckig. Spülmittel, Mülltüten, Lappen, Schwämme, Handseife und Toilettenpapier mussten wir alles selber kaufen. Ist nicht weiter schlimm, habe ich aber auch schon anders erlebt, zumindest unsere Nachfolger sind nun erstmal gut ausgestattet ;-) Isabel selbst lebt in England und muss all solche Dinge aus der Ferne koordinieren, was sicher nicht leicht ist. Der Kontakt zu ihr lief prima und sie war wirklich sehr bemüht. Alles in allem haben ohnehin die positiven Eindrücke überwiegt und ich würde das Haus grundsätzlich weiter empfehlen!

Beautiful views

The villa was in a quiet residential area with a few barking dogs in the neighboring properties but nothing that stopped us from enjoying the holiday. The views of the far away hills from the top tier garden were lovely. We spent most of our time around the pool in the top garden. Plenty of areas to sit outside including a front porch bench. Spacious interior. Slightly dated interior but had a rustic charm and very well equipped. 20 min drive to Vilamoura where we spent a number of evenings strolling around the marina and sampling the local restaurants. 10 min drive to a Lidl supermarket. Our family had a great time and we all came home refreshed and relaxed.

Super sejour

Nous avons passe 18 jours dans la villa Isabel du 20 mai au 7 juin 2019.Elle est agréable a vivre spacieuse avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Idéalement située proche de Loule , Albufeira ,Vilamoura a 20 mm de Faro. Expérience concluante à renouveler. Isabel Martins est toujours disponible pour répondre à nos éventuels questions.

Very nice place in a great location for bikers

This is a nice 2 BR 2 Bath house with a well-stocked kitchen. We had a bit of an issue figuring out the stove. It would be nice if the owner would make up a little welcome sheet with instructions for things like the stove and the wifi password, trash pick-up, etc. We worked it out. Great biking in all directions and an easy drive to the coast if you want to play tourist.

Extérieurs parfaits, mais équipements intérieurs, propreté et services aux locataires à améliorer

Les avantages indéniables de cette maison sont ses extérieurs : piscine très grande, barbecue et terrasse, le cadre est parfait. Accés à l'autoroute A22 en 3 minutes, idéal pour parcourir l'Algarve, sans en avoir les inconvénient (puisque de l'autre côté de la colline). Par contre l'intérieur n'est pas à la hauteur - le chauffe-eau sans ballon d'eau chaude est vétuste. (la veilleuse s'éteint souvent) - la propreté n'est pas à la hauteur (vaisselle et nappes sales à l'arrivée) - il a fallut réparer le lave-vaisselle et l'épuisette de la piscine avant de pouvoir s'en servir. Pour conclure : maison à fort potentiel, mais le suivi des propriétaires n'est pas suffisant, pour apporter un service correct au locataires qui se succèdent. . .Dommage . . .
