Villa Neela is located in the small residential development of Vilas Alvas in Garrao, less than twenty mins drive from Faro Airport and situated between two 5* resorts in the Algarve - Quinta do Lago and Val do Lobo. Ideally located for golf and tennis the Villa is also within 2 minutes drive of a number of beautiful beaches, the nearest Praia do Garrao Nacsente (less than 20 mins walk). This modern 4 double bedroom villa is ideal for both family and group holidays and has a modern fitted kitchen, 3 full ensuites plus one further bathroom. The property is fully air-conditioned. There is a newly tiled terrace with heated pool and gated garden area including outdoor heated shower, BBQ with outdoor sink and sun loungers. Includes once weekly maid service although a more frequent service can be arranged via the agent who is available 24 hours. Portuguese and international restaurants are nearby plus popular beach bars including Julias and Marias offering quality and family friendly entertainment.

We had a very enjoyable stay. We were met by Mickey and given a tour. Everything was great except an unforeseeable event were a pump in a dishwater went bad and we had a water leak in the house. but it was handled by mickey and the owner and we had it fixed promptly. They also gave us a bottle of Champaign and free heating of the pool. We were impressed with this gesture.

Bella casa, ampia e spaziosa. Wifii non funzionante nelle camere, solo nel soggiorno. Doccia di un bagno con perdite. Alcuni sciacquoni wc funzionanti malamente. Nel complesso bene ma visto il prezzo servirebbe qualche sistemazione!

Property is very good , good location , pool was heated for us and the kids loved it. Property manager was super helpful. Suggest some more towels for the pool as the property doesn’t have a dryer and on the damper days it was a real struggle to get everything dry. Only blip was the cleaners didn’t leave all bedrooms open for us which was a pain. Overall very good and would highly recommend.

Lovely well equipped spacious villa

Overall we had a lovely family stay in this villa. It was very spacious and well equipped, and the pool deck area in particular had everything you could need in terms of space and outdoor furniture. Two large fridges was also a very nice addition for a large group. Just to note that the location was not exactly as shown on the map (as I now see is mentioned by a previous review) which was a shame as we thought we had booked for a quite specific location we had stayed in before. It’s approx a 10 minute walk away so not a huge issue l, but feel it still would be best to get this updated for anyone with mobility issues perhaps.

Great family villa!!

Great stay. Villa is excellent. Living space and outdoor pool area are ideal for families. Well resourced so you should find every you need. Kitchen and bathrooms, whilst completely fine, could perhaps do with sprucing up as were looking a bit tired. Communication from agent was excellent and met us on arrival. Location is great between VDL and QDL and a short walk to the beach. The map provided by website suggested villa is in Dunas Douradas but is in fact in Villa Alvas which a bit further from beach. Not a major issue and probably my fault for not checking location in more detail. All excellent generally though and we had a lovely time 👏

Algarve stay

A lovely villa, a great size for the 5 us and any additional visiting friends. The area outside was great and everyone loved the pool. The kitchen was a good size and having 2 large fridges and as a bonus. We used Uber to travel about and it was only a few euros to go to the beach. Very easy as in previous years I spend a lot of time getting teens around. The location meant it was easy to do, but it’s not really a 15 minute walk to the beach, more like 30.

The amazing villa Neela ♥️

We had the most amazing week in Almancil. The villa was just perfect for us(family with 3 children ,ages 9/14/15). I truly can not recommend it enough! Great facilities, amazing swimming pool ,within 20 minutes walk from the local beach Plaia de Garrão. Mickey was great accommodating us with check in and check out timings. Thank you Portugal for giving us unforgettable memories 😊

Nice stay

We are two families with two 10 year old boys. We paid for the pool to be heated and it was dreamy, and Mickey the property manager was very accommodating. Plenty of clean bath and beach towels. The house and location worked well for us but perhaps we are used to certain amenities (salt and pepper, oil, spices, garbage bags, more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom - we purchased these and left for the next visitors but not sure if the cleaning staff takes these away after each rental…?). Note that two of the beds are most probably doubles and one is a king (in US terms - 52” vs 59” approx - I measured with my iPhone!).

Clean and bright villa

Had a great week at villa with family. Very clean, private and spacious and had everything you would need for a villa stay. Pool and outside space was private and quiet with plenty loungers and seating for outdoor dining. Everything worked well and Mickey the property manager was very helpful. Check in and out process was very easy, even though our flight to Faro was late in arriving very late at night. You need a car but it is only a 5 min drive to both Vale do Lobo and Quinta de Lago golf courses, restaurants, shops and bars. Electric gates made it feel even safer. Would definitely stay again.

Back to Garrao at last!

The property was perfect for us, just we hoped it would be. Excellent location and approx a 15 minute walk to the main beach and the cluster of beach restaurants. All the rooms are to good size proportions, the kitchen is modern and well equipped with even two fridges. The bathrooms were clean and modern too and once again well serviced. The pool has been built to a shape that is sympathetic with the curved shape of the house which gives a good aesthetic to the garden. The surrounding area was pretty quiet during our stay in mid September. Overall we were very comfortable in the villa and enjoyed our stay there a great deal.

Beautiful house, with a nice outdoor area by the pool. Great kitchen area if you want to cook. Near to the beach (4 min car drive). We were 8 adults and the house was perfect because of it's 4 bedrooms. 2 of them are ensuites and the other 2 share 1 bathroom. Nice restaurants around the area (not walking distance).

The villa is stunning and the pool was amazing. Worth heating it with two small kids.

We had an issue with the fourth bedroom air con however the property manager did his best to sort it but it couldn’t be fixed for our stay. He did drop off a fan and do as much as he could. We arrived at a silly hour and we were met no problem - private area very quiet and felt very relaxed there. Taxis with Uber app very easy so no need for a hire car.

Excellent villa

Stayed here as a 3 generation family group. The villa was very clean, well equipped and comfortable throughout. The garden area was also lovely with plenty of lounging and dining furniture, the pool was a good size for dipping and cooling off. The villa is very well located for supermarkets, beaches and restaurants in Vale Do Lobo, Quinta Da Lago and Vilamoura. Car hire is essential and definitely use Golfauto as recommended by villa owner. Can’t wait to return and would highly recommend to all

Family holiday in Portugal.

We spent a delightful month at Villa Neela with our family of 7. The villa was exactly as advertised, clean, well appointed and spacious. The weather was hot whilst we were in Portugal, so the air conditioning was greatly appreciated. When not in the villa, we all spent a lot of time either in the pool or on the nearby beaches. Jose the local contact person was excellent. He was attentive and very responsive. We all enjoyed our time at Villa Neela.

Great Family Holiday

2 families, 4 adults, 2x teenagers and a 6yr old. Perfect sized villa for us to share for 2 weeks, lovely quiet location within Vale do Lobo and I would say care hire is essential to visit the beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. Quality of the villa is a very high standard and the outside space with pool was fantastic during the day and to chill out in during the evenings. We had many BBQ' s as meat and fish was plentiful from the local supermarket. The villa benefits from full aircon which was a welcome relief at times. Overall a high end villa in a premium location

A super villa so well placed for trips to a number of beaches within 10 minutes drive.

Villa Neela is a wonderful place to stay. A short drive from Faro airport, great accommodation, helpful local representative and perfect for a family holiday. We went there with our son and his family including our 4 year old grandson and 18 month old granddaughter. We had a fabulous time as we had several beaches within 10 minutes drive, easily accessible supermarkets that can meet all your needs, helpful local representative and good restaurants if you plan to eat out. Great place, location and lovely people.
