Stunning home on Louis Head Beach available for rent.

  • This exquisite property is located on eight acres with a quarter mile of private beach frontage. The home is located at the end of the beach at the intersection of the Atlantic Ocean and the Sable River.
    Recently constructed in 2009, this 2,300 square foot property has three floors of living space with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Sable River to the west. The home is surrounded on three sides by a large outdoor deck on the first level and a deck off of the master bedroom on the second level.
    The beach house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The inside of the home was constructed of natural wood by a master carpenter to better complement the beautiful natural environment outside. The many amenities that are provided include Wi-Fi; cable TV on two levels; gas grill; washer and dryer; sheets, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen; fishing and clamming supplies; and a couple of kayaks.
    Louis Head Beach is a two-mile long sandy beach with both deeper areas great for fishing and shallow areas ideal for swimming, body surfing, or sea kayaking.
    It is a fifteen minute drive to the quaint village of Lockeport, known for its beautiful Crescent Beach, and roughly one half hour to the the picturesque seaside town of Shelburne. For extended shopping, dining, or other attractions the larger town of Liverpool is also one half hour away. For a big city experience, Halifax is around a two-hour drive to the northeast.

Lovely Property

We stayed for 4 nights, and had a wonderful stay. The house has everything we could have wanted and the location is amazing. The beautiful beach rarely had anyone else around and was amazing. Note: bring bug spray, there were a lot of bugs on the beach at the time of year we were there.

Superb house and property

This is our second time staying at this lovely beach house in Louis Head. It is totally private and just a short walk to the beach. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have seen in NS and most of the time there was nobody on it but us. We had intended to do some exploring of the south shore on this visit but the property was just too beautiful to leave!

Excellent Location

We had a lovely time! Spent all day on the beach. The children loved digging holes and making sand castles. Beach sand makes this feel like a tropical getaway. House is huge. We never even used the downstairs with 6 of us. Could have easily had another couple with us. Would recommend this hidden gem and we look forward to booking again!

This cottage is one of the nicest I have stayed in and of course the beach is wonderful ...long, powdery white sand with almost no seaweed ...excellent for walking as it is so flat and very good for children. We swam as well. It is close to the towns of Lockeport with more beaches and tourist things, a nice restaurant; Shelburne with a very nice waterfront.There is a very nice BBQ, outdoor shower and plenty of room in the cottage and on the deck. Beds were comfortable. Bunnies in the yard. We will probably stay here again although we like to go to different places in the province, this really hit all the boxes!

Louis Head Beach Tranquility

This is a quiet, tranquil setting with a long stretch of pristine, sandy beach right out the front door. Most times we were the only people on what seemed to be our own private beach. The house is extremely clean and we enjoyed sitting in the sun on the deck watching the chipmunks feast on the wild strawberries in the lawn. Totally relaxing and a completely enjoyable east coast experience.

Great stay - very relaxing!

We had a very relaxing unwinding trip! Beach is lovely/breathtaking. The home is well stocked and clean. Master BR is gorgeous. Mattresses are all very comfortable, as per our kids who slept very well! The host is easy to get a hold of. We are coming back next year, was one of our best family vacations, just so relaxing and unwinding!

Dream location!

This lovely home is located on one end of lovely Louis Head Beach, a two mile long, broad, white sandy beach. Great for long walks, swimming and body surfing. From the upper deck we had beautiful views of the ocean and the full moon as it rose over the horizon. The house was cosy, modern and had all the equipment and toys needed to have a wonderful holiday.
