This newly renovated mid century modern is lovingly decorated by local designers, and offers 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and plenty of space for entertaining or relaxing with family and friends. As you enter, hardwood floors spread in every direction. Enjoy the chic kitchen with finely finished tropical wood cabinetry, modern stainless steel appliances, and all the countertop space you need to cook up delicious dishes served at the bar. A 10-seat natural wood dining table echoes the mid century style. With a smart TV in each bedroom plus living room, along with high speed mesh wifi internet, everyone in your party will be able to unwind at their own pace. A luxurious, private oversized spa, natural gas BBQ, and outdoor dining complete your California beach experience.

House Rules

Please enjoy our home and neighborhood, and treat them with the same respect you would your own.

- No smoking or smokers allowed anywhere on premises, either outside or inside. Any sign of smoking will result in a fee for abatement and cleanup, and other more serious sanctions.

- NO PARTIES, no music outside, all guests must be registered whether visiting or sleeping. Rates are for up to 6 persons, extra guests are $25/day. Occupancy is determined by persons on premises at any time. Keep noise outside to minimum. Quiet hours outside after 10:30PM.

- No pets. Service dog fraud is prohibited under California Penal Code 365.7 PC. Violation will result in cancellation or $500 fee or both. This home is not a public accommodation as a hotel. Please respect the health of others with serious allergies, who legally require a pet-free home.

- Photo ID of booker, and guest list required, sent to the host on channel within 24 hours of booking.

- No filming or photo shoots, except by special arrangement.

- In consideration of other guests, we ask not to cook fish inside. A BBQ is provided outside, and we suggest a delicious foil wrap with butter/oil.

- Please do not send packages to this residence. Any mail delivered to this property cannot be guaranteed.

- Please empty food into garbage, not the garbage disposal. Rinse dishes before placing in the dishwasher.

- Only toilet paper in the toilet. A $300 fee will be assessed for clogs due to anything else.

- Loss of remote or keys will result in a $50 charge.

- On departure: Leave property in same condition that you received it. Dishes done, food and drinks removed from fridge. Trash removed and taken outside, placed in trash bins (use smaller gate in backyard to access). Please inform us if you have broken anything. If additional cleaning is required, please let us know.

You agree not to raise issues in a review that were not given a reasonable chance to be remediated. Issues must be documented via text in the conversation thread. Acceptance of House Rules invalidates any review which does not follow this guideline.

We had a fabulous time staying at this property. It was very centrally located in walking distance of second Street with shopping bars and restaurants. Also within walking distance of a local neighborhood funds as well as minutes from the beach. House was very clean and was great for our family

Nice place for work crew

This was a work trip. 4 guys and we were able to spread out in the house, cook on the grill and socialize after dinners. This worked out well for us versus the hotel route. House was as posted. No issues whatsoever.

Great SoCal Getaway!

We had a wonderful time during our visit to Southern California. The property: it’s perfect. We stayed with our family or 4 and another family of 4. There was plenty of room for everyone. The home was very clean and well stocked. We appreciate the stock of toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. The beach towels, boogie boards and toys were great too. The bedrooms are a nice size. One of them does not have a dresser but was a nice closet. The second bathroom upstairs does not have much vanity space but we were able to put toiletries and things on some shelves just outside the bathroom door. The A/C was amazing! The outdoor space was very nice and private. There were a lot of flies around but we ended up getting some fly traps to help. We didn’t end up using the grill because it needs to be cleaned. The hot tub was a nice bonus and very well maintained. The neighborhood: this home was perfectly located right between shops and restaurants on 2nd Street and the beach. It was a quick five minute walk to either one. We walked most places. The neighborhood seemed nice and safe. It’s not as high end as many of the California beach neighborhoods, but still very nice. My one complaint about the neighborhood is the beach is very dirty. We went one day and chose to drive to Seal Beach for our other beach day. There are lots of food options on 2nd Street along with a few cute little shops. Overall, this is a very nice home in an excellent location and a very good value!

Great house at Long Beach to attend a conference.

This is great house in an excellent location to attend events at the Convention Center. We walk using the train on the beach, or rented a scooter or car. Close to supermarket and excellent amenities.

Perfect home for families

This property was exceptionally clean, spacious and well appointed. The owners responded quickly to any questions we had and made sure every need was met. We loved the location just blocks from the beach and downtown Belmont Shore with its many cute shops and an array of restaurants.

Long Beach Holiday

Our family stayed at the home this past weekend and enjoyed the proximity to beaches, shops and especially Second street businesss district. The two parking spaces, garage and driveway were great, not having to search for a space. Dan and his team were very accommodating, even ordering cutting boatds when I mentioned the small one that was in the house! They were very responsive to our needs and concerns. The house is spacious, great kitchen for cooking family meals and a private and quaint backyard, including the hot tub that was always warm and inviting. Thank you Dan and team for a terrific stay!

A+ Vacation

The property was very clean and amenities were consistent with what was described in the listing. Location was great, close enough to family in LA, short walk to the beach or the quaint restaurant/shopping district in Long Beach, and within a short drive of other destinations, such as Disneyland. We visited with our elementary age children and our parents. Everyone had their own comfortable space with ample room in the living room and at the kitchen table for our group. The kitchen was great for preparing breakfasts and lunches. For dinners, the grill was in very nice shape and we enjoyed some local restaurants. The owner was extremely responsive and clearly cares about making this a high quality rental. One hidden gem of the area was the Canal side of Bayshore Beach. They have inflatable trampolines and other toys in the water. You can swim from shore to the toys and play. It’s well controlled by lifeguards and was a highlight for our 8 year old. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards at affordable rates in the same spot.

The best VRBO we have EVER rented!

We had to reserve this last minute due to another VRBO fallout. We were treated with such respect from start to finish. Every aspect about renting this home was amazing! Great House and Location

The property was very nice. The beach was only a few short blocks away and we went there on a daily basis. Some great shops and restaurants on 2nd street were also a close walk. It was great to be able to relax in the great big hot tub every night. Would definitely stay again.
