Amazing Getaway at a Beautiful Beach Sept 2023

The condo view was amazing! The location is perfect for a quick walk (few steps) down to the beach. This unit was at the end of the building, beach front with the pool at the other end. The beach was quiet and peaceful. There were few people, even with the neighboring resorts, which made it perfect for our stay. The sitting area furniture, near the balcony door, doesn't match the photos (wicker) and the sofa in the living area was peeling in spots along the bottom and top. The outside is very dark at night, no bright lights due to turtle nesting, so we didn't sit outside after sunset. If you like higher elevation to sleep, bring a few extra pillows for the master suite. One suggestion to the resort is to add a few paddle boards, kayaks and a couple of bikes to rent for the guests. Otherwise, our vacation was perfect! I highly recommend Sand Cay Beach Resort for those seeking a nice, relaxing, quiet sanctuary right on the beach that is still close to shopping, resteraunts and lively entertainment. The resort staff were friendly and helpful.

Location, location, location

Such a beautiful spot on Longboat Key! The unit was beachfront so we had easy access to the beach and a great view of the sunsets every night. Kitchen was well appointed and furniture was nice. The unit smelled of mildew when we arrived, so we opened up the windows and ran the AC. The tile floor in the master bath was broken and uneven, and the guest toilet broke shortly we arrived. Someone came to fix it quickly. Unit needs a little updating, but overall was an enjoyable place to stay.

Longboat Key vaca

Wonderful location on the Key. Unit has a great view overlooking the beach, very clean and comfortable, spacious. The community is well kept, staff is very friendly and welcoming. A perfect spot.

Excellent Getaway!

Visited in October with family and we loved every minute of our stay. Unit 203 may not be the most updated, but it had by far the best views from nearly all rooms and was very spacious. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped and the community was fun and friendly. We are definitely coming back and extending our stay there. One of our favorite Florida destinations so far. I've decided any prior poor reviews of this unit were trying to throw people off from renting it so they could have it to theirselves. LOL!

I wish I could leave a positive comment but here are the problems: When we arrived the place didn't seem to be very clean, but I guess everyone is particular. Furniture is very outdated and need to be replaced. Kitchen is outdated and utensils have seen better days. The place needs an electric tea kettle. Ants were everywhere. Blinds are broken. Ceiling is leaking by the window. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Pillows felt like cardboard boxes. Please replace them ASAP. Positive things: ***The views are amazing*** Just a few steps to the beach. Laundry is on premises and its free if you have your own detergent. Overall not a bad place if they update it and fix a few things.

Wonderful sunsets

Property was a little dated and kitchen utensils were very used. But the view was wonderful. So many rentals have uncomfortable furniture but the chairs and sofas were very nice.

Beautiful view!

The condo was very nice with a gorgeous view. Kitchen was well stocked. I was told I would get a call once my room was ready, but never got one. I had a problem with the AC so I left a message and never got a call back.

Amazing views!

This property is all about the views. There was plenty of space for 4 of us staying at the property, 2 adults and 2 children. There were views from everywhere in the condo which we truly enjoyed. A bit dated and worn, but we would certainly recommend staying here.
