Check in was awful. No communication with the host. We have to contact VRBO internationally to get contact with the host to send us the check in codes.It was very stressful receiving the codes late after sending multiple messages to the host without an answer.The apartment is a great size with a great location but it’s absolutely awfully maintained. Dripping tapes, holes in the ceiling, the bathrooms are really disgusting. The front door doesn’t feel safe as it’s a flimsy wooden door.

The flat in a shabby condition. The taps drip. No bath taps in the bathroom. The hinges are in a bad state. Leak from the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. The toilet handle in the en suite bathroom doesnt work properly. On a positive note, the location is prime, and the flat is very roomy and well equipped. The host left no operating instructions for the electrical equipment.

Un taudis

Cet location était une véritable escroquerie. Les photos ne correspondent pas du tout à la réalité. Il y a des trous dans les murs et la peinture s’écaille dans plusieurs pièces et surtout dans la salle de bain. Le carrelage est cassé au sol dans plusieurs pièces. Les portes des chambres se referment toutes seules et le propriétaire a placé des poids de musculation devant les portes pour éviter qu'elles ne se referment. On se croirait en prison. Il y avait des cheveux dans la baignoire et elle était bouchée. Les murs sont sales et très vétustes. Les robinets sont tellement âgés qu'on a du mal à les fermer et les ouvrir. Nous avons pris un serviette pour ouvrir les robinets tellement les joints sont pourris. Nous nous sommes brulés avec le robinet d'eau chaude en tentant de le fermer. Une des chambres est mitoyenne avec l appartement d'à coté et donc quand le locataire d'à côté ferme la porte de sa chambre, on à l impression qu'il est dans notre appartement. Nous ne sommes restés que quelques heures dans l appartement et nous sommes vite allés à l'hôtel. Nous avons alerté Abritel de la réalité de cet appartement. C'est honteux d'oser louer à prix d'or un trou à rats pareil.

A nice place in a nice area

Well located, next to the Regent street shops and 10 min. from picadilly, the flat is large with 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms.

Perfectly located for SoHo and Mayfair and right on Oxford Circus & Bond St Stations, this apartment put us at the heart of the action. Suited our family of five with two bathrooms and kitchen and laundry. It's a bit run down and would be hard to deep clean, so if you don't mind ruff around the edges this is a good place for you.

The property is in a great location just behind Regent Street. However, it was very shabby and not very clean. The whole place needs decorating. It is not great for how expensive it is. It is also very warm as the floor feels like there is heating on all the time.

Excellent location, ok-ish property

We spent 4 nights here in mid-June. The property is as described, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and has plenty of space; although the layout is odd, in a C shape. Check-in involves a 10 minute (1/3 mile?) walk to a post office desk in a convenience store to get the key. Also check-out. It’s 2024, people… modernize your system. The place is old and beat up, the bed in the main bedroom was acceptable but the pillows were miserably cheap and deformed. The sheet/blanket situation was also very poor. The bathrooms are not good, tiles coming up and toilets that take about 8 minutes to refill. We were not excited about the cleanliness, although it looked like the cleaning woman did a fine job, because the place is in bad repair. The apartment is relatively quiet from street noise, although there was a construction project going on while we were there so it was super noisy during the day. I'm sure this isn't typical... The location is excellent though! Half a block off of Regent St with tons of huge department stores- 2+ blocks from Carnaby with tons of bars and restaurants. Near Soho and Mayfair, 2 blocks from the Oxford Circus tube stations. For the amount that we spent, i cannot wholeheartedly recommend this apartment. With some updating and care it could be a good rental!

Great location, dingy flat.

This flat is in a great location. Very close to great restaurants and shopping. Central location to various subway lines with easy access to many tourist sites. However this flat is pretty run down compared to the photos and was not very clean when we arrived. It was incredibly hot and stuffy. It seemed the heat or perhaps in-floor heating (floor was very warm in certain places) was permanently on, although the thermostats were all turned to zero. There weren’t even any dish cloths or dish towels provided. Just a dirty sponge and some paper towel. No sheets or blankets were provided for the sofa bed. And only one pillow per person. The host did not respond when I asked about some of these missing items. It is also very noisy as it backs onto an ugly back alley where everyone dumps their bottles and garbage from surrounding businesses at a steady rate. Overall not impressed, although very pleased with the location.

Good location, dated home

Overall, the stay was fine. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were space heaters for 2 of the bedrooms and the master bedroom was very hot from the building’s heat. The kitchen and the bathrooms were very dated. Again, the stay was fine overall. It had what we needed but it was definitely different than expected.
