With more care, could be excellent
In a safe and family friendly neighbourhood with Shepherds Bush station within a 10 minute walk close to a nearby Westfields offering so many shops and food places. Supermarket shopping within easy reach. On the other side was Kensington Olympia station only minutes away by foot with less frequent trains but a good connection to the District line. A short walk from there was a stop for bus 9 which had easy access to Buckingham Palace, Kightsbridge, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and more!
We wished this stay could have been better, the things easy to fix things with a bit of care and attention listed below
* a late fee for check in after 9pm which is puzzling because you get the key from a lock box. We made it on time but it this places extra pressure to arrive by 9pm unnecessarily especially after a long flight
* listed as a place suitable for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children. The sofa bed was a king single at best. Bedding here is realistically comfortable for only 3 people.
* we asked for the sofa bed to be ready for our arrival which was noted by the host but it wasn’t. We arranged it easy enough but we had to search for bed sheets.
* bed sheets were stained which we let the host know about but never got a response about (among other things). This did not leave a good first impression
* for a longer stay, we wanted a bit more generosity with towels and flexibility by the host
* could have provided extras like umbrella, glasses, washing liquid
