The Neighborhood:
Filled with amazing cafés, restaurants, parks, things to do and things to see, Peckham has the added joy that nothing is too touristy or overdone. Many of Peckham's restaurants, bars and cafes are independent and a short walk away. Franks rooftop bar is a particularly popular spot with incredible views of central london including The Shard & The London Eye. The Victorian Bussey Building is a melting pot for artistic and creative activity, wind your way through the narrow back alleyways to discover everything from hipster cafes to pottery studios. This is a wonderfully diverse and multicultural area with a unique community spirit. Road: The roads tend to be busy in this area and most locals prefer to use public transport. The M25 is about 45 minutes away for those travelling further afield.

Getting away: Gatwick is about an hour away by car, or easily accessible by train via Clapham Junction.
