  • Come enjoy this beautiful riverside retreat! The house sits directly on the San Marcos River with your own private access to the water. There are large windows throughout the home that maximize the river views and there is also a wrap around porch to take in the beautiful natural surroundings.

    The space
    Home has 3 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms.

    *Please note, you must go through one of the bedrooms to access the master bedroom from inside. However, the master bedroom has its own exterior door that can be used instead.
    Guest access
    House/Property sits high above the river & you must use stairway to access the water. There is a small safety fence that lines the waterfront ledge but children must always be supervised

This place was amazing!! Having the three cabins was perfect and each one was clean and nicely decorated. We had a great weekend with family and friends and will definitely be back. The owners were so easy to work with and responded so quickly to any question we had. They were very accommodating!

We had a wonderful family week here with ten people, playing games, grilling, and sitting on the deck and by the fire pit! We will come again! Perfect place to get away and relax overlooking the river.

Family Get-a-Way

We had an amazing get-a-way for my 50th Birthday. It was just what we needed to be able to get together and spend time with family. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts we will be back again.

The rental was amazing the owner is super accommodating and helpful house was a little small but big bedrooms and very comfortable beds and spent most of our time outside very quiet also almost no traffic on the river so you pretty much and the river to yourself the was one shuttle spot Les then 10 min from the house but kinda expensive but other then that no complaints we will definitely be returning.

Our stay on the San Marcos River was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, communication with the property owner was clear, timely, and incredibly helpful, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.They graciously allowed us to hold a celebration of life for my mother on the property, which meant more to our family than words can express. The setting was peaceful, beautiful, and provided the perfect space for us to come together and honor her memory.The home itself had plenty of room both inside and out, making it ideal for gathering with family and friends. It was clear the owners put a lot of thought into every detail—everything we needed was already there.We highly recommend this property and will absolutely be returning in the future.

Nice enough place and props to the hosts for letting us check in early. Outlets and lamps next to bed in master BR didn’t work. Spent time on call w owner, flipping breakers. When none of that worked, he mentioned something about an electrician friend maybe coming by. That never happened. One set of stairs to river marked off for no use. Other set had at least one treacherous step, could use some upkeep. Decent place overall and we enjoyed sitting outside by the river but didn’t feel like the value fit what we paid.
