Litomyšl is a harmonious place!
The UNESCO-listed Renaissance castle, the historic centre full of colourful town houses, one of the oldest castle theatres in Europe and the birthplace of the world-famous Czech composer Bedřich Smetana are just some of the features that characterise Litomyšl and give it worldwide cultural significance.
The town of Litomysl, in Eastern Bohemia, emerged in the 13th century on the site of an ancient fortified settlement on the Trstenice Way, an important trade route linking Bohemia and Moravia.
Litomysl is notable for its monumental Renaissance castle dating from 1581. The buildings within the castle walls are not only outstanding for their architectural refinement, but have also gone down in history as the birthplace of the Czech national composer, Bedrich Smetana. On the elongated square, which is one of the largest in the Czech Republic, there is a town hall of Gothic origin and a series of Renaissance and Baroque houses, most with arcades and vaulted rooms on the ground floor. One of the most important of these is the Knights' House (U Rytíru), with its striking façade. In the past, the town was also an important religious centre. The second bishopric in Bohemia was founded in Litomysl in 1344.

Next to the kitchen is a bathroom with shower and bidet. As the ceiling is very high, a first floor has been created with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the second with two single beds.

It is accessible via a ramp, allowing access with a pushchair or children's trolley, for example. The centre, with its restaurants and supermarkets, is approx. 15 m away.
