  • Casa da Vila is located in a specific only for pedestrians Seitenstraβe in the center of old Sintra. You can undisturbed recover from the traffic noise and are still in the immediate vicinity of most tourist attractions and infrastructures -. The Stadtschloβ eg can be reached in 3 minutes on foot, and bus stops, shops, cafes and restaurants are close and the train station with trains Lisbon is about 10 minutes. The apartment has separate entrance, is equipped with all the necessities and a small Auβenbereich seating is also available. And anything is missing or need help and information - we are nearby and always present for you!

Appartement bien situé près de nombreux restaurants et d’attractions. Très bel accueil de l’hôte. Petite terrasse agréable.

Very quiet and comfortable little place. Perfect for 2! Super close to the old town and palacio nacionale, as well as cafes, restaurants and shops. So happy we stayed here.

Enjoyed a great stay at Maria’s, home is located very central to accessing sites, is clean, and quiet. Maria left us a bottle of Port which was much appreciated after a long day of travel. We also enjoyed the outside patio/terrace area, and had a great dinner at a local restaurant she recommended. My only suggestion would be, if you are taking a taxi or ride share into town (which I would do) would be to ask her for a good drop off location to give the driver. Sintra’s road can be challenging to navigate, pedestrian only streets, and a lot that are narrow orone way, so having a good drop off will make the process of getting there easier.

The unit was the perfect blend of old world and convenience. Loved the central location, helpful neighbours and old style linen. Check-in was challenging but worth the effort

Accommodation was very central to all the attractions and yet tucked away down a small pedestrian street and very quiet. A short but steep walk over cobble stones to the main square.

Wonderful stay in Sintra

This little apartment in the center of Sintra is a joy. A wonderful location, beautiful atmosphere, quiet surroundings, I wish I could have stayed longer. Great value for location. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Stay!!!

This a beautiful little house in the best location. The tile in the kitchen is magnificent. We loved drinking our coffee on the front terrace. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Mistakes can be made; we did not receive any information about check-in. They did not respond to a message through VRBO. We waited at the door long enough for her to show up. She might have apologized, but then got defensive and made all kinds of excuses that were not valid, which just caused more irritation. ... Hours later her husband came and apologized more thoroughly, which was much more effective! ... Oh, and on the last morning we had no hot water. Otherwise, everything was very nice. I assume they will learn from this, so I would not expect similar mistakes in the future.

Perfect location

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sintra home. The location was perfect. We were met by Maria upon our arrival. The apartment was adorable. Maria provided a complimentary bottle of Port, which we enjoyed on our patio. There was so many amazing things to do in the area, and all within walking distance.

Peace in Sintra

The quiet apartment is very well located right in the middle of town but on a quiet street behind the main action. The hosts are responsive and the apartment is well equipped with everything you need. We especially enjoyed eating on the quiet patio.

Jolie petite maison on ne peux mieux située.

Considérant qu'il est situé au coeur du centre historique de Sintra, cet appartement est étonnament calme. Parfait pour se plonger dans l'atmosphère de cette charmante ville. Notre hôte était également bien disponible.

Great place, perfect location!

A perfect casita, just above the town square on a quiet pedestrian lane. Very well supplied with kitchen ware, towels, etc.. Tiny food shop a 15 minute walk near the train station. Hosts were very nice and just a couple of houses away.

Magical Spot

We enjoyed a lovely stay in this home in the historic area of Sintra. The home was perfect for us, with a sitting area, bedroom, kitchen and full bath. There were extra pillows, blankets, an iron, hair dryer, fully equipped kitchen, anything we could have needed. The garden views from the bedroom and the outdoor patio facing the small lane were lovely as well. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful, they certainly made our stay even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning to this magical spot!

Lovely, cozy apartment in the heart of Sintra!

We stayed 4 nights in this little jewel of a place. Confortable, fully equipped and right at Sintra’s downtown, it is located on a narrow pedestrian street and it is quiet and serene at night. Hosts Dulce and Burkhardt were fantastic from booking time till departure. Thank you so much for everything! Manuel & Roberto

Nice place

Lovely tile work, good mattresses, pretty well equipped, but could be so much better with a bit of TLC. Bathroom faucet sprays all over, bedroom door squeaks badly, hair dryer is on its last legs and the whole place smelled musty.

Great location, super landlady.

This tiny house is located a stone throw away from Sintra centre — everything iswithin walking distance. The house is small but it’s fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The landlady, Maria, was a very nice and cultured individual. She always responded to queries etc. quickly and gave ideas on tourist spots in Sintra. The only problem with this house is it is far from supermarkets/mini markets.All in all, we would still recommend this place for a short stay in Sintra.

nice small house en quiet arrea

nice place to stay, its very quiet and close to center. parking ( for free) is not easy, almost all roads are one way. We had no hot water and had to make it on the cooking plate, we could not take a hot shower. The owner was not at home during our stay.

Very delightful property in the heart of Sintra. You'll feel like a local.

This property's location is in the heart of the city center only 2 blocks from the National Palace. It has a delightful little courtyard and the bedroom looks straight out into the owners garden. It is in a quiet neighborhood. It's kitchen is well equipped, but I think eating at one of the many restaurants is preferable to figuring out where to shop for groceries. I definitely don't recommend driving, Infact I don't know where you could park. We took a taxi to the property, and it is only 2 blocks from the taxi staging area.
