Apartment with a view of the sunset over the Alicudi and Filicudi Islands

"Casa Filicudi" is located in the countryside of the island of Lipari, in a very quiet area of the hamlet of Pianoconte, about 5 km from the center of Lipari and far from the hustle and bustle of the summer season. It is surrounded by greenery, with the property’s land used for vineyards, fruit trees, and seasonal vegetables.

Casa Filicudi is an apartment for 2+1 people equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a heat pump.

The apartment has a private entrance from the furnished covered terrace. Inside, it features a kitchen-dining area equipped with a 4-burner stove, an air fryer, and a fridge-freezer; the hallway leads to a comfortable bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a wardrobe, a 24-inch HD TV, and a spacious bathroom equipped with a shower stall and a wall-mounted hair dryer; the exterior doors and windows are fitted with mosquito screens.

From the roof of the property, you can admire a splendid sunset over the westernmost islands of the archipelago—Alicudi and Filicudi—while to the south you can see the coast of Sicily and the island of Vulcano.

- IMPORTANT NOTES -
* If you’re driving to the apartment, once you reach the hamlet of Pianoconte, you’ll need to leave the provincial road and turn onto a secondary road.

* The hamlet of Pianoconte, where the apartment is located, is situated higher up than the center of Lipari—about 5 km away—and 10 km from the most popular beaches. For this very reason, *I recommend renting a car or scooter from one of the rental agencies located across from the port; alternatively, you can use the bus service, the bus stop is about 400 meters from the apartment.

On the property in front of the apartment, you’ll find an open-air parking lot and a fully equipped barbecue area.
The rooftop of the Solarium is equipped with lounge chairs and tables—perfect for an aperitif or to enjoy a private sunset over the islands of Alicudi and Filicudi—and is accessible via an outdoor staircase.
All of these areas are shared with other guests.

I like to personally welcome guests to make check-in as easy as possible; that’s why I provide a transfer from the port of arrival to the apartment—even just to load your luggage if you’ve rented a vehicle— and the same applies to check-out.

The hamlet of Pianoconte, within an 800-meter radius of the apartment, is home to a post office, a tobacco shop and lottery outlet, two bars, several restaurants and pizzerias offering takeout, a supermarket with a produce section, and a butcher shop.

The closest beach to the apartment is “Valle Muria”
located 3 km away. It is a secluded and uncrowded beach; to reach it, you must leave the provincial road and walk along a path for
500 meters.
