The Studio mini home away from home in the Berkshires

The studio is in the front room of an historic house (circa 1830) on Main St, in Lee. convenient to all of the town's amenities and a part of the Garfield House complex of properties (furnished and unfurnished). This is a small space, but has a queen mattress (Murphy bed - folds out from the wall), couch, arm chair, kitchen, small table, TV, bathroom, private porch, entrance and parking.
Guests have full access to Garfield House amenities, ie., grilling, patio, laundry room etc. Walking distance to quality restaurants. The Garfield property and units are only a short distance to entertainment sites like Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow and some great museums like the Clark and Norman Rockwell. The Appalachian Trail goes right through Berkshire County and Garfield Properties is an excellent jumping off point.

My little Lee Nest

Melanie got me settled and the little studio space was perfect for my needs this weekend, I enjoyed the front porch, and the place was spotless. The Murphy bed was very comfortable. Thanks for making me feel at home!

Cute cottage on Main St

A great location for a number of cultural experiences in the Berkshires, and walking distance to the shops and restaurants of the town of Lee. The studio is small, but the murphy bed is incredibly comfortable so it has all the benefits of a hotel room, with the addition of a kitchen and a porch from which to watch the world of Lee go by.

This studio gave us exactly what we needed: Restaurants and shops within walking distance, even the library. As we have family living in the Berkshires we decided not to bother with getting a rental car and that worked out just fine.

Perfect Studio Stay!

This was a perfect studio retreat for me. The host was wonderful and prepared a cozy well-stocked studio in a great location. Everything I needed was close by and the space is near walking trails and shopping. I would return for a stay again without hesitation! Thanks so much for everything!

First visit to Lee, Massachusetts

The location of this VRBO was convenient to the events and locations I attended and visited during my first stay in this part of Massachusetts. The studio wasn't fancy, but it had everything I needed. I enjoyed fixing many of my meals in the kitchen and it was convenient not to have to go out for every meal. My sister and brother-in-law visited me at the location and we had fun playing board games several of the nights I was staying there. It is close to the street and there is traffic noise, so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to know about that. Overall, it was a great stay.

Friendly and Comfortable

This was a delightful and comfortable place to stay! It was clean, had lots of natural light, and the bed was super comfortable. We brought our own food, and the kitchen was great for what we needed to do. The location was great for our day trips. The host was wonderful to work with – very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. This property is highly recommended!

Lovely Studio; perfect location

It was wonderful to come home to this compact studio with everything you'll need for your stay. I stayed at the studio because I had day passes to Kripalu and it was a 12 minute drive (if that) to the place. I got to know the area more than I had which was also wonderful. I called the owner as well as his other contact somewhat late because I couldn't figure out the Murphy bed and they both called me back (I lack common sense so I had figured it out by then). Both very kind. Thank you!

Lovely location and pretty studio

This studio was just perfect for me along with my well behaved English cocker spaniel. Having had a condo in the Berkshires, I am familiar with the area. I loved the front porch, the cleanliness and convenience to the area. I’d go back in a heartbeat and will!!

Wonderful Cottage, Great Location!

The first floor room in which we stayed at the cottage is compact, but includes everything we needed. Modern kitchen appliances, renovated space with a well appointed bathroom, a space-saving murphy bed, reliable wifi connection, access to washers and dryers -- and a TV with channels we like to watch. The owner was responsive to all of our needs. Located in Lee, the cottage is a great centrally located base from which to see all that that the Berkshires have to offer. We'd be very pleased to stay in this cottage again on our next trip to Western Massachusetts!
