  • Our smoke-free home is located on two acres with river frontage on the property in a quiet subdivision. Pets are welcome. This house has a private yard, the river frontage is shared with House #1( VRBO Property ID 2206452. Plenty of room for yard games!
    Home is fully furnished with a fully-equipped kitchen. You will need to bring, sheets, pillows, pillowcases, towels, & dish cloths.

Great place to stay at. Great Hospitality. Just a Beautiful place to go. Loved the water. All my family enjoyed it. Loved how they had a variety of games to enjoy. Can not wait to go again.

Charming

The property was absolutely beautiful. River access was close, and the kids loved the calming flow of the river. The house had all necessary supplies/amenities to have our family all together.

Thanksgiving treat

Rained almost our entire stay, so enjoyed cozy family time. Were able to see lost maples during a break in the rain, as well as going to Garner State Park, which is always nice. Loved the location, even with low water in the Frio.

Great place to stay

Everything was perfect. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived. They provided all the essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, bedding and anything you made need in the kitchen area. The beds were so comfortable. The property is beautiful. We had a terrific stay. Will be back again.

Peaceful and beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay very much, nice supply of everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The kids played outdoor games and loved roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. We all enjoyed sitting around the campfire on the chilly nights. Already planning a summer trip.

Last Minute Getaway

My family and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Even though the river is lower then we’re use to. The water hole just up from the house was perfect for the kids and family. The owners were very attentive and the house was well stocked and clean.

Very nice vacation home in Leakey

House was very nice! There was a little dirt on the floor in one room but other than that, everything else was very organized and clean! Close to Garner and in a very quiet location. Owners are easy and fast to contact. Will likely stay again.

The property is in a very nice quiet location very close to the Frio river. The property matches the description in the listing accurately and we had no surprises. The hosts were very communicative and prompt in answering questions and handling requests.

Family get away

We enjoyed the access to the Frio River. And Garner State Park. Along with the bat colony nightly flight in Concan. We connected as a family much to busy in our day to day lives.

Cozy, Clean and Comfortable

The house and owners were great! They replied to our questions immediately. We had 6 people in our party with the youngest at 15 and the house had plenty of space to not feel crowded. The bonus was a nice swimming hole located right upstream, so there was no worries about being able to sit and swim. Thank you again for the accomodations!

Fun short trip

River was the lowest it has ever been however we had an awesome time with family, neighbors and local neighbors family in town. 20 or 30 yard’s upstream was a great swimming hole where we spent the time hanging out.

Family getaway

We wanted a property that would be great for our teens and their friends and close to the Frio. We loved the location and the property. The owners were very helpful and even allowed our dogs to come too! We wish the Frio was running high enough to float, but that can't be helped. We found plenty of swimming holes and spent a day at Garner. Thank you for being great hosts!
