In the heart of Volvestre, you are 15km from Rieux-Volvestre (one of the most beautiful detours in France), Martres-Tolosane (the most beautiful earthenware in the South-West), Montbrun-Bocage (artisans' market), the vineyard of Bertrand Henry and the Gaulish village of Saint-Julien. The Ariège department is on the other side of the river below the gîte: Mas d'Azil is 30km away, Saint-Girons 30km away and Foix 55km away. Local festivities on the 1st weekend of August (4 days).
