The Space:
Gold Nugget 2 by Tiny Away is tucked away from the usual camping area of Gold Park with separate access through the back and convenient parking right next to the tiny house. The tiny home comes with views of lush, green paddocks, creeks, and random visits from Rudy the deer over the fence 5 meters away from the tiny house. The campsite is also a drive away from various scenes and activities such as Nugget Point, Tunnel Beach Dunedin, Larnach Castle, and Orokonui Ecosanctuary.

It's a cozy 139-square-foot accommodation with comfortable and well-furnished guest rooms, wide public spaces, and comfortable seating areas. Easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities are included. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have two tiny houses, "Gold Nugget 1 and 3," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and the whole camping ground. Do keep away from private signs and do not open any paddock gates that are locked.

Access our shared amenities at Gold Park, including a communal pool, backyard, and laundry with washer and dryer. Additionally, enjoy communal facilities such as showers, toilets, a mini-library, and a kitchen. Outdoor bath and fireplace are available at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Gold Nugget 2 by Tiny Away establishes itself in a bustling rural community, nestled in Lawrence, Clutha Country - South Island New Zealand and just an hour’s drive to the city of Dunedin.

The rich heritage and beautiful surroundings make Lawrence the perfect destination for history buffs and outdoor enthusiasts alike, truly a hidden jewel in the heart of South Otago. Just a short drive takes you to a range of attractions like Nugget Point, Tunnel Beach in Dunedin, Larnach Castle, and the Orokonui Ecosanctuary.

Getting Around:
By car:

- Lawrence is 90 Kms from Dunedin and a 1 hour 15 min drive away.
- The nearest towns are Milton (33kms) or Balcutha (56kms)
- Reachable by 2WD and 4WD.

By public transport:

- Daily bus service from Dunedin City and Dunedin airport is available.
- The bus drops off at the main drag and the camp is a 10 min walk from there. Inter-city is the bus provider.

Other Things to Note:
- Camp-wide fast WiFi is now available.
- Pets should be kept on a leash at all times
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed.
- Gas BBQ Grill is available for $20, with prior arrangement.
- Smoking is allowed only in the designated area outside the tiny home
- Mobile reception is good for Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Only one pet is allowed. Additional pets may incur a fee. This is a pet-friendly property—full pet policies will be sent before arrival.

Important note:

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
