Great spot for a friends get together -- just not sure for how long it will last....

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Villa. The house was pretty good -- one step below top notch -- but likely top notch for Semana. There is a street outside from the front gate that you must cross to get to a perfect beach. A longish walk into town pasting 5-10 beach bars/restaurants. Perfect location. Managed by a hotel residence up the street with an amazing concierge who were excellent in arranging everything we needed. Excellent chef who made breakfast and left snacks in the fridge. The only issue is that there is a large construction site next door. When we were there -- they were manually laying re-bar -- so there was no real noise or disruption. Just not sure what will happen once the construction trucks start rolling in.

De belles vacances

Belle maison, beaucoup d’espace. Excellent service de la concierge Yuri. Camilla et Luis , les cuisiniers , nous ont fait d’excellents plats. Le surveillant de nuit,Jean aussi très aimable. La plage en face de la maison est superbe, aucune algue. Snorkeling à proximité quand la mer est calme. 2 points à améliorer ,le wifi qui n’est disponible que dans une seule pièce de la maison. Changer les serviettes de plage chaque jour… la cuisine devrait été mieux équipée … En général on a apprécié notre séjour et on y retournerait sans hésiter!

Amazing time. Details were always answered

We were 5 adults and 3 teens. Had a very nice time. All our needs and questions were answered by the concierge service the same day. Few things happened but were resolved within few hours. Good communication with property manager and concierge. We had the chef service for each dinner and it was super good. Cleaning people came every day and job well done. The night security guard was also very nice to talk to.

Great location!

We had a few issues during our stay, but most were resolved. We had a short delay after check-in to actually get bedroom keys to us. The property advertises a washer and dryer, but the dryer never worked. We tied up a rope for a clothes line outside instead. The a/c in the upstairs bedroom didn’t work for a few days, but was finally fixed and worked well the last couple days. The WiFi only works in one very small room of the house, so do not count on WiFi access. The house is dated and could use more comfortable furniture. There is a roof leak near the kitchen when it rains, so we put a towel down on the floor to prevent slipping. I know these are minor issues to some folks, but I think it’s important to know what you may be getting. Now, on to the positives of this house. The pool was great and big enough for our group of 10. The daily housekeeping was convenient for our large group. But the best feature of this house really is the location. Just open the gate and walk a few steps across the road to one of the most gorgeous beaches in DR!!! You’re far enough down the road that you don’t have big crowds, but still close enough to walk to restaurants or even up into town. It’s a good swimming beach and some of our group even snorkeled a bit. Las Terrenas is a lively little town. There are a couple of big grocery stores and various restaurants and food options. We rented a car and explored other beaches and areas too, but beware that driving in DR is crazy. Enjoy!

Fantastic stay at a beautiful beach villa!

We just left from a long weekend at this beach villa and really enjoyed ourselves. The amenities listed barely do it justice. You will have a full staff, complete with maintenance person, cleaners, overnight security, concierge and a culinary staff for every meal! You can contact the concierge anytime for any excursions, rentals, etc. They gave us the chef/bellhop’s info to ask for items from the store (food, beer, liquor) whenever we needed them and they brought them when arriving to prepare meals. Every meal was huge and delicious. Chef Fernando is very talented! The villa itself was fantastic. We had an issue with the AC in one room, but it was fixed the next day. A couple of the exterior doors didn’t lock, but you can close the automatic hurricane shutters to provide more security and seclusion if desired. The proximity to the beach and ability to go between that and the pool was what made this villa so enticing. We loved it. We would certainly return! Great place for families or a trip with friends.

Most Amazing GetAway!

Honestly I didn’t expect to have so much fun! Nuestr estadia fue Genial! Chef Francisco, Chef Fernando & Fernando Jose fueron maravillosos ! La Comida todo los dias estaba excelente! Amazing location, good hospitality but there is room for improvement.

We are a family of 4 plus a Family of 3 that stayed at the house. The hospitality was very good, easy comunicación with the manager, the location is a plus, having the beach in front is a major deal. The Pool and jacuzzi were AMAZING and the green areas of the house too. What we didn’t like was that we didn’t have a normal regular fridge and freezer because it was broken so all our groceries didn’t fit on a small tiny one they put for 7 people. After complaining several times they changed it at the middle of the trip. We also didn’t have water a few times because the mantananince guy forget to close the hose after filling the jacuzzi every morning. Also, he come very early and do some noice so if you want to sleep and rest on your vacation you will not be able to do it after 7 30 am. There are no four wheels as the listing and photos of the property show. And there is no umbrella at the beach either. This two things should be removed from the listing. Cleaning can be done better too. I feel if they offer to clean twice a week then do it right. I suggest you keep the entrance door always closed since a few times we were relaxing at the pool and suddenly we had street vendors selling us stuff next to us in a private property. Overall we loved the location and the house but will suggest better appliances, a new OVEN please, ice trays so you can make ice and don’t need to buy every day and a big cooler for the beach and more privacy. If they add this little things we will definitely come back.

Villa Playa

We stayed 2 days at Villa Playa... the villa and grounds are beautiful, well equipped with beautiful pool and fully functional kitchen. The property is clean and well kept. The beds, pillows and linens are clean and very comfortable! ACs and fans in all rooms. Bathrooms are all modern and very nice. Beach right out front with great snorkeling! Betania and Lourdes were both very nice! And a nice gentleman came early both mornings to clean the pool, and take out the garbage. Highly recommended!!

Simply amazing!

Amazing location with a beautiful beach rigin front f the house. We enjoyed tge pool, jacuzzy and watched the breathtaking sunsets evey day. The house is in good condition and confortable. The cleaning team was grand and came in every day. Lastly Chef Danny cooked us delicious typical meals. Overall a dream vacation. Gracias!

A great week-long stay for 2 four-person families with kids

We were two families of 4 each (each with 3- and 5-year-olds, and we stayed for 5 nights. We had a great time and would recommend the house to others. The location is perfect with a pool off the porch, a nicely sized and beautiful yard, and then the beach literally across the street. The main shops/restaurants area in Las Terrenas are a 5-minute drive away, and Sol y Mar and Churros are beach restaurants within walking distance. Also a very chill and safe feel to Las Terrenas and along the way from Santo Domingo. Last, Georgette was very responsive in preparation for our trip, Stephanie managed our stay in Las Terrenas professionally and attentively, and we had Chef Danny prepare 3 dinners. A great time!

Las Terrenas Gem!

This house is spectacular. On the best beach in Las Terranas, at the best (quiet) end of that beach. Lovely spacious house, well-equipped in every way! Enjoyed cooking in and eating out. Comfortable beds and sleek bathrooms. The staff is long-time and very professional. Especially Miss Stephanie who greets you and Wilson the "watchee". The beach is just out the front gate so you can be in and out all day long. Recommended for couples traveling together, families or even honeymooners. We plan to come back next year...

Wonderful Property

We enjoyed our week in Las Terrenas. The house was very nice. We enjoyed the pool, patio, and yard, as well as the beach. The daily maid service and pool and lawn care was good. Ms. Stephanie was very helpful, recommending restaurants and arranging excursions. If we vacation again in Las Terrenas we will definitely be staying at Villa Playa.

An Amazing place to stay!!!!!

This is my third time renting homes at Las Terrenas, this house is by far the best I have rented so far. This house is very well maintained inside and outside, the gardens are beautifully kept. The pool and hot tub Definitely met my expectations! The house staff is very helpful, but not obstructive. Stephanie our Concierge called daily, or came by just to make sure all was well. Family Paradise!

Villa Playa was beautiful, comfortable, well equipped... perfect for our family group of 10. The pool and kid toys were great to keep us entertained, and both pool and jacuzzi spotless and cleaned every day. The gas grill made cooking together fun. The home is right across a quiet lane to the beach with a gorgeous view. The large landscaped yard affords privacy and space for a big group to spread out. The staff was always accommodating and unobtrusive. Bed linens and towels were very good quality and the ACs worked well. Walking to restaurants and town is possible. Estefani was an excellent host. We loved our stay here!

Mother's Day Weekend Celebration

We stayed at Villa Playa for mother's day weekend. It is perfectly located, recently renovated, the beach is great, pool and whirlpool, BBQ. The staff very friendly. We couldn't ask for more. My family is wishing to go back soon to enjoy this wonderful property again.
