"If you are looking for a unconventional place to unplug and unwind, the Cheese Wedge Cabin is a charming getway. Etienne is a lovely host who made us feel welcome and comfortable on her farm. We got up close and personal with the sheep, chickens, and Phoenix the sheepdog (who is the gentlest giant and steadfast companion).
We had plenty of privacy in the cabin while still being close enough to get anything we needed from the private guest kitchen & bath connected to the main house.

"We arrived in the evening, after dark. The first thing we saw was a beautiful, elegantly-lit Christmas tree. Set the stage for a wonderful family weekend. Had a tiny issue with the water heater, and Sarah was so kind when we needed her help. This place is magical. "

"The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved the sliders to the deck. We had a wonderful view of the lake and we could see all the birds easily from the kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that either a sliding screen door is added or a screen that fits in the door frame. That way, you can keep the door open without letting bugs in. I definitely recommend this property for anyone who loves being close to the water. It is nice to be just over the bridge from Dubuque and the location is...
