"Booked this through VRBO expecting an apartment, but it turned out to be a traditional motel. The rooms were clean, but overall the property is fairly dated, with visible scuffs and smudges on the doors and walls. The room was smaller than expected, though reasonable given the price point. We were hoping for a simple, rustic or Amish-like character, but the overall feel was more along the lines of a basic roadside short-stay motel. Fine if you just need a clean bed for an overnight, but not...

"Great location. Close to restaurants, museum, coffee shops. Very clean! And the convenience of the parking garage so close to the property is really nice. The only negative was the many stairs (34) up to unit 2 on the 3rd floor. I would definitely stay here again IF I could get the 2nd floor unit and cut the climb in half to 17 stairs!!! "

"The apartment is very well located. It was very easy to walk around town. We didn't have noise issues. Yes, the apartment shares a wall with the main house and there is a little dog, but he barely barked. Street noise was minimal. Bed is comfortable and bathroom is well appointed. "The plus was LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION in downtown Lancaster near the convention center, farmer's market etc... The place was clean and had all the basics for a comfortable stay for one or two as long as they intended to primarily eat out. Parking might have been an issue but I took the train so can't be sure. Basically, you are paying for the central location...and professional management...but the latter failed me during the checkin process...completely. Expedia, Vrbo and the local...
