Y Dderwen, Aberaeron

Y Dderwen is one of two delightfully converted cottages with a private hot tub and games room at Mydroilyn, only 15 minutes from New Quay and Aberaeron on Cardigan Bay. The cottage is full of character with many interesting original features, set in a peaceful, rural location on a working farm only five miles from the picturesque Ceredigion Heritage Coast.

Mydroilyn is close to Lampeter, a charming university and market town nestling in the mid-Teifi valley on the borders of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire. Within a short drive is Aberaeron, which is a charming Georgian port town on the Cardigan Bay coast of West Wales and well worth a visit when you holiday in Ceredigion.

Explore the wonderful beaches around Cardigan Bay where most of the coastline is protected Heritage Coast. Visit and discover clean sandy beaches with clear waters, caves, waterfalls, wild rugged cliffs and so much more. There are fabulous walks across the headlands to secret coves rarely visited except by birds and the ghosts of ancient smugglers.

ACCOMMODATION

Y Dderwen sleeps 4 plus cot in 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. The cottage is single storey so may be suitable for guests with restricted mobility.

Bathroom: shower, toilet, hand basin

OUTSIDE

Patio with garden furniture and beautiful views of a wooded valley. Play area with swings, slides and trampoline. Private Hot tub available for guests staying at Y Dderwen. Games room with darts board, pool table and table tennis facilities.
This also provides a drying area for boots and coats as well as secure storage for bicycles. A shared laundry room is provided with a washer/dryer, large freezer and sink area. Private off-road parking available by the cottage.
