  • Escape to the coziest, lakeside cottage. Recently renovated to perfection, this quaint and well-kept 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is located on a private road and down the road from a private beach paradise. This property is perfect for couples, families and friends alike as it is a cozy space, yet large enough for privacy. Enjoy cooking in a well equipt kitchen, read a book on the covered porch, walk down the lane to dip your feet in the lake, or enjoy a nice barbecue with a cocktail- your options here are endless. In case you aren't a well suited guest for completely unconnecting, we have the fastest wifi you will ever experience and a cable TV in each room. The house has its own driveway for ample overnight parking and an in-unit washer/dryer for convenience. Complete with air conditioning and heat, your stay here is guaranteed to be enjoyable and comfortable. Our superb location is a stones throw from Union Pier, New Buffalo and Harbert, but nestled in our own friendly, lakeside community. We provide many amenities to make sure your stay is as effortless as possible, after all, life is great at the lake!

    We are Family Friendly: We proudly partner with BabyQuip for Baby Gear Rental. Additional information available upon request from owner. Including but not limited to: strollers, wagons, car seats, full size cribs, Snoo's, pack n' plays, highchairs or boosters, toys, baby gates, extra beach gear and much more. We also provide a curated list of recommended activities in our area if the beach isn't calling your name.

Quick communication with owner, beautiful private beach within walking distance (does involve quite a few stairs, but it was manageable even with infants and our grandmother)— the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.

Very cozy shabby chic cottage in a twist location. Easy walk to a gorgeous beach (there are stairs) with crystal clean water. The cottage has everything you may need or want and the owner Hailey is a gem!

The Cottage

My family and I stayed at The Cottage and had a wonderful time. The cottage was clean and just a short walk to the beach. It is also a close drive to New Buffalo. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect spot

Charming, comfortable cottage that was very clean and well appointed. We’ve rented many places in the area and we will definitely be coming back to this place when it’s available. One of the best beaches in the area and it’s not crowded like the public access beaches down the road in U.P.

Perfect place for our Girl's Getaway

The cottage was charming. Updated kitchen and bathrooms, everything you could possibly need available for your use, and great instructions and communications with host. Would definitely consider coming back to Cozy Cottage again!

Cute cottage

The location of the cottage is fantastic. It’s a cute little cottage only about a block from the beach entrance, and having a private entrance is an added bonus! There were a couple of minor things, nothing big. Hailey was quick to respond to our concerns and rectified the problems.

Perfect Lake Michigan Getaway

We had an amazing long weekend at this cottage. The home had everything we needed for our beach time (chairs, towels, umbrella, and even a boogie board). We loved relaxing on the porch after a long day in the sand, and the quiet street was wonderful. Host was also very helpful and responsive to our questions.

Excellent location, adorable cottage

The cottage was very clean when we arrived and the decor is charming. However, the location is the best thing about the home. The walk to the beautiful, private beach only took minutes and we loved how much beach time we were able to squeeze in. There is also several playgrounds nearby as well as some awesome breweries, bakeries, and restaurants.
