Cozy Chalet & Dog Friendly!

Newly remodeled chalet with all the amenities you desire to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The Chalet is tastefully decorated to suit every style of guest.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, updated appliances and lighting to help make entertaining easy and effortless.

*1 main king size bedroom is down stairs adjacent to the living room. There is also a full bathroom downstairs with a shower/jetted tub.
*2 bedrooms up stairs: one with a full size bed, the other with 2 twin beds.
* 1 full bath upstairs with shower/tub
*Huge bonus loft, perfect for teenagers to escape to. Floor sleeping is an option for kids in the loft, but you must be bring your own bedding.

Each bedroom/loft is furnished with internet TV, clean linen and comfy beds (loft does not include bedding or linen).
The living room has a sectional couch, cozy chairs, and internet TV. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots pans, silverware, etc.

OCCUPANCY IS 6 PEOPLE. The owner of the property will consider an additional 2 children with approval, but renter should understand there is only enough beds to sleep 6. Floor sleeping is an option in the loft, but must bring own linen/bedding. El Dorado County is VERY strict on occupancy and there is no room for exceptions. Heavy fines will be placed on the renter by El Dorado County if over occupancy

2 remodeled decks can serve as extra entertaining space. Equipped with patio furniture(seasonal) and a propane BBQ.

A large and fully fenced back yard is perfect for our dog guests. Plenty of room to run and sniff! We do have a 3 dog max. Additional dogs will incur an additional fee.

We take pride in providing a clean and quiet renting experience. The chalet is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded with both rentals and permanent residents. Loud parties and music are absolutely not allowed. We also do not allow large group gatherings. El Dorado Sheriff will give citations in upwards of $1,000 to the renter if called to the property during quiet hours from 10pm-8am

Property is off of Pioneer Trail and within driving distance to all the popular attractions that South Lake Tahoe has to offer. A quick 15 drive to the ski resorts and downtown! Our guests love downtown, but they always love coming back to relax in our quiet neighborhood.

Property owners are always available to answer any questions during your stay.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

We had an amazing weekend at this property! The house was immaculately clean, super cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and being dog-friendly was such a huge bonus for our family. The welcome basket was such a thoughtful touch. I truly can’t say enough good things—Lisa was super responsive and made the whole experience seamless from start to finish. Just a wonderful stay all around. We will absolutely be back again. Highly recommend!

Dog-friendly, cozy place, with a great host!

We had a great time!For the humans: the beds and couches were comfortable, there were tons of great blankets, and the heat kept up with the small cold snap we got, so we had a very comfortable stay. The electronic door lock worked smoothly for check-in and checkout. We forgot to bring snacks for the drive and arrived hungry, and there was a generous snack basket that tided us over until we could get groceries. There was also a nice electric kettle we made a ton of use of for tea and cocoa. The carport being covered was nice, as we got some great bonus snow during the nights. The jetted tub was great, it was super relaxing and a great way to warm up after playing in the snow. The hosts were very communicative throughout, and their checkout process was chill, easy, and very reasonable in scope. I appreciated that a lot!For the dog: The hosts provided a set of bowls in a holder, and a bag of treats, as well as a lint roller for the more sheddy pups. The yard is large and secure with a good tall fence, and there is a provided scooper set and bagged outdoor bin for dog waste. Our dog loved wandering around the yard and sniffing all the squirrel tracks around the trees.

Cozy & Cute

We loved our stay at this property! Perfect for a tahoe escape. Location was perfect- close to both ski resorts and grocery stores. The little touches around the house were so thoughtful! We immediately felt like we were on a true vacation the moment we stepped into this home. Decor 10/10. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay.

We stayed here and the accomdations were great. Loved the gas stove. Had plenty of sheets, blankets and towels. The kitchen had everything we needed. Especially loved the snacks that were left for us and our small dog. That was a great touch. The location was nice with a short ride into town and Nevada. Would stay again.

Family Tahoe Getaway

Birthday celebration

We had originally planned our trip to celebrate our son’s birthday but unfortunately a big storm blew in. The owner was so great about communicating with us prior to the storm and allowed us to reschedule our dates for another time so that we weren’t forced to drive in the storm or lose our money. She was very kind and helpful. The place looks exactly like the pictures. It was in a nice, quiet neighborhood, had everything we needed, and the kids and dogs loved the huge, fenced backyard. The kids spent almost the entire visit playing and lounging in their own special place in the attic! Thank you for a great stay.

Great Stay in South Lake Tahoe

This house was the perfect getaway for my family. The house was very clean and so nicely decorated. We were there over the holidays and so it had some Christmas decorations out and a lot of nice little holiday touches that made you want to be there such as holiday hand soap and towels and some holiday pillows all tastefully done. Also, there was a nice welcome basket with some little snacks as well as a treat for our dog. We didn't eat most of the snacks, but it was such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel welcome. The location of the house is great. A 12 minute drive to Heavenly and shops and restaurants are very close. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. My husband didn't like the skylight in the primary bedroom (it was too bright in the morning for him), but I enjoyed waking up to seeing trees overhead. The kids bedrooms upstairs were very comfortable and they enjoyed the loft with foos ball. I liked that the house was close to so many nice hikes to take our dog such as Tahoe Paradise Park, Taylor Creek, and Fallen Leaf Lake. I definitely would stay here again.

Tahoe Cabin

Overall great experience. Cabin/house met all expectations. Great location on a quiet street just off of Pioneer Trail. Quick drive to stores and lake. Owner was ultra response to any outreach and request. Recommend without any reservations!

Great family & pet-friendly home!

The home was very well laid out, and our dog loved spending time in the spacious yard. The gift basket with snacks was a nice surprise for all of us, including the dog treats! Neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. Check-in/out procedures were simple and clear. Would highly recommend.

Awesome stay

Eric and Lisa were wonderful hosts. Originally, a winter storm prevented my family from visiting, but Eric and Lisa allowed easy schedule change to a later date. They were very responsive and kind throughout our visit. The house was clean, allows two pets, and thoughtfully organized. They refilled the propane tank for bbq and left treats for our dogs. Check in and check out processes were simple, as well. Highly recommended stay.

This is an amazing property! Everything you need in a convenient and quiet area. Our dogs loved the back yard and their was plenty of space for them to run around. I specifically loved the front deck! My husband loved the water pressure 😊 We highly recommend this property for you and your fur babies!

4th of July weekend

Our stay was amazing! Pictures do not do justice for this home. Lisa went out of her way to make our stay extra special. The home was decorated for the holiday and even left a gift basket of goodies for us. The attention to detail is amazing and you will have everything you need for your stay. We had three dogs with us and there was plenty of room for everyone and a big yard for the dogs to play in.

Wonderful cabin in a great location

We had a great stay at this cabin. It was easy to get to from the main road and close to the lake, shops, grocery stores, etc. The layout was awesome and great for spending time cookinga be hanging with the fam. The owner left a nice welcome basket of goodies for us and our dog, which made it really special. She was also easy to contact when we had a question or two. We would definitely visit again.

Great getaway chalet!

Went up this last weekend with my husband and infant daughter and our 3 dogs, plus a couple friends. Had such a great time! The kitchen is well equipped (we did a lot of cooking!) and we really liked the layout of the house. The snow was almost up to the fence line, just a heads up if you bring bigger dogs who may be able to step over the fence. Lisa was super communicative, the place was super clean and comfortable, and we had a great time!

Birthday stay

This property was amazing! I loved how clean and spacious the house was for my husband and I as well as are 2 dogs! The backyard was very spacious and plenty of room for the dogs to roam. The snow was pretty high to the fence line so I had to keep my husky on a leash which was no problem at all! I would definitely come back and stay at this location again. Hopefully during the summer time!
