4 Season Fish Cabin off Lake Colby in Saranac Lake, furnished with ADK Decor

Fish Cabin is about 300 feet from Lake Colby and is not along the shore of the lake, but does have access to our beach, boats and dock. Fish cabin has it's own charcoal grill, picnic table and Fire pit outside as well as a smoker. Each of the 4 cabins on the property are approximately 25 feet from the next with trees separating them.

Fish cabin has one Queen Bedroom and a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This cabin can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children maximum. The sleeper sofa can accommodate less than 120 pounds for sleeping purposes. Please do not book this cabin if your group exceeds our capacity.

Fish has a fully stocked kitchen including spices, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, teapot, blender, microwave, gas stove, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, drip and Keurig coffee machines. Fresh towels and linens are provided. Fish has a Smart TV and all of the comforts and amenities of home provided in Adirondack decor.

Fish cabin is heated by a gas fireplace and also has ductless air conditioning and heat. Fish cabin has a Smart TV and all of the comforts and amenities of home provided in Adirondack decor.

This cabin is a 2-minute walk to the public beach and a 1-minute drive to the public boat launch.
This cabin is a 4-minute drive to downtown Saranac Lake
Mt. Pisgah is a 2-minute drive where one can ski, snowboard and tube.
Whiteface is a 45-minute drive.
Titus mountain is a 45 minute drive.

During boating season, guests can enjoy our private beach and dock and use any of our 9 boats: 2 row boats, 3 canoes, 3 full size kayaks and a child size kayak. Lake Colby is known for it's excellent fishing of : rainbow and brown trout, salmon, largemouth and smallmouth bass. Maximum 10 hp motors can be used on this lake. Boating is available on our property between May1st and October 31st unless water temperatures are unsafe.

Lake Colby is part of the greater Saranac Lake Community, which offers many tourist attractions, including hiking, snow skiing, zip lines, golf, and amazing food. Saranac Lake is surrounded by some of the most scenic hiking trails on the East Coast.

Let us know if you wish to book one, two, three, or four cabins. We book all 4 cabins together from the third week of June through the last week of August with check-in and check-out on Saturdays.

Internet speed is 400 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload.

We welcome dogs less than 80 lbs. We have a pet fee of $100. Pets must be cleaned up after returning from outside and crated if left alone in the cabin. Kindly share the breed with us when booking.

Cameras are used outside the property for security purposes. There are no cameras inside the premises.

We had a great time staying here. The property was beautiful and close to town. Well kept, clean, and provided all the necessities one would expect. Huda and Ethan provided an easy check in, along with updating us on road/parking conditions prior to our arrival. We will definitely be back again.

A lovely getaway by the lake

Lake Colby is in a great location, and central to all of the adventures we wanted to do. The Fish cabin had everything we needed and the kitchen was adequately stocked with the basics. Although this cabin was not directly on the water, we still were able to enjoy the waterfront and launch our SUP boards each day. Our dog loved swimming in the lake and watching red squirrels from the screened in porch. The discovery of the newly opened rail trail already has us planning a return trip to stay at one of the cabins directly on the water. Thanks for the great stay!

Saranac lake winter carnival fun!

This is a beautiful lakeside (lake Colby) cabin. Even though the temperatures were below zero the cabin stayed toasty warm. We loved visiting the ice castle and carnival events in Saranac Lake ,5 minutes drive. Also fantastic restaurants in Saranac. Drove over to Lake Placid ,25 min and snowshoed at Heaven Hills with the dog. Our favorite was xc skiing at the VIC at Paul Smiths. This cabin was a perfect location to easily visit all the winter fun in the area. It was so clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the bed comfortable. We loved it! Thanks we hope to come back in the summer or fall.

Enjoyable Stay in the ADKs

Compact, well equipped, cozy cabin situated very close to Saranac Lake. Great communication with the host prior and during the stay. Only a few things to be aware of - cabin is not on the water (which is disclosed in the description) but what is not explained is you have to walk through other guests' property to access the dock and the available water craft. Felt like an intrusion. Also, the photos of the sun streaming through the windows are a mystery. The cabin is completely surrounded by trees - we had to put lights on during the day. But otherwise, this is a lovely place.

Beautiful little cabin

Very cozy, very cute. This cabin has a screened-in porch, which was very nice, but the downside is it doesn't have a seating area directly by the water (which the other three cabins at this address do). No matter, we had a wonderful time and it was an absolutely beautiful site.

Great and fun

This is a nice place! It is a bit old and a a bit short, has its own quirks. The place is wonderful though, close to the water and quick to town. It got very cold while we were there (-20 F) and the heater was mostly able to keep up. It was very clean and well taken care of. Stay here if you’re looking for fun

Beautiful cabin

We liked our stay very much. Everything worked very well, the cabin was super clean and well stocked. We were able to use the kayaks no problem and the swimming beach is very close. The street that it’s on is quiet and we all slept great at night. My only feedback would be that the photo for Fish Cabin showed a very beautifully lit and sunny space. Fish Cabin is extremely dark, gets no direct sunlight. We had the lights on every day inside. But other than that it was a really pleasant lovely stay.

Quiet, beautifully decorated cabins on Lake Colby

We stayed two nights at Fish cabin, which is well maintained, comfortable and decorated just like the photos. It was super neat and clean with lovely Adirondack furniture. We realized when we pulled in that we had stayed at the Moose cabin 15+ years ago when our children were small. It too is an absolutely beautiful cabin. We plan to come back with extended family. We highly recommend staying at these cabins if you are in the Saranac Lake area. Huda is a very responsive and accommodating host.

This was a perfect escape for us. We came to hike some of the 46 high peaks & the location was perfect! Colby lake is a perfect spot, the cabin was cozy & clean & perfect for us . We’d love to come back
