Muskoka Cottage with a Sandy Beach

  • La familia de Roberts da la bienvenida a personas de todos los ámbitos de la vida para disfrutar de una estancia en el hermoso Lago Grandview. Tenemos una playa de arena privada. El agua del lago es cristalina y perfecta para nadar y practicar deportes acuáticos. Hay un gran muelle para pasar el rato junto al lago y un muelle flotante para bucear y saltar. Después de un divertido día bajo el sol, disfrute de asar malvaviscos alrededor del fuego del campamento.

    Tenga en cuenta que julio y agosto son 7 ngt min. Preferimos de sábado a sábado pero tenemos cierta flexibilidad.
    Se debe pagar un depósito de $ 1000 por daños 30 días antes de la fecha de llegada. El depósito será reembolsado en su totalidad si la casa se deja en las condiciones en que la encontró. Cualquier limpieza extra o daños serán sacados del depósito. Hay un contrato de alquiler para firmar también.

    La cabaña duerme 10. Hay 4 dormitorios. Una con una reina, otra con una doble, dos habitaciones con literas y una doble en el vestíbulo de arriba.

    Tenemos una playa de arena privada que es un conjunto de escaleras que bajan de la cabaña (acceso a la playa también por el camino de acceso (no hay escaleras).

    El agua del lago es cristalina y refrescante en los meses de verano. Desde la playa es un paseo de arena poco profundo, perfecto para niños o descansando con los pies en el agua.

    Hay un gran muelle en forma de "L" donde su grupo puede tomar algunos rayos o puede escaparse con una taza de café por la mañana y ver salir el sol a través de la niebla.

    Hay una canoa y un bote de remos para recorrer el lago generalmente tranquilo.  También tenemos muchos PFD.

    El camino de entrada se dobla como un lanzamiento de barco, por lo que si tiene su propia embarcación, puede traerla.

    Hay un porche cerrado que contiene todas las ventanas protegidas, ideal para sentarse por la noche o cuando llueve.  También es un gran espacio para jugar a las cartas o juegos de mesa.

    Mis padres y abuelos compraron la propiedad en 1976. En ese momento era sólo un cobertizo para botes con puertas de granero. A lo largo de los años, ha evolucionado hasta convertirse en lo que es ahora y nos complace compartirlo con usted.
    Esta reserva tiene una política de cancelación estricta: los reembolsos se emitirán hasta 60 días antes de la fecha de llegada.
    Se proporciona un reembolso del 100% para los viajeros que cancelan al menos 60 días antes del check-in. No se otorgan reembolsos a los viajeros que cancelen menos de 60 días antes del check-in. Las tarifas de reserva de CanadaStays son reembolsables si cancela dentro de las 48 horas de haber realizado su solicitud de reserva.
    Las reglas de nuestra casa: el inquilino principal debe tener 25 años o más, no fumar, no se permiten fiestas ni eventos, se admiten mascotas.
    Las reservas para julio y agosto son estancias mínimas de 7 noches. Preferimos de sábado a sábado, pero tenemos cierta flexibilidad dependiendo de la semana.

    Las reservas para mayo, junio, septiembre y octubre son de tres noches como mínimo.

Amazing cottage close to Algonquin Park

Very well maintained cottage. Beautiful lake and close to Algonquin Park. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of room at the cottage. Easy access from highway 117. One of the best cottages I ever rented.

Great spot for a young family

Our kids loved the beach. The entry into the water didn't have any weeds. It was great. The cottage was big, and had a great kitchen. We'd go again.

Beautiful beach property

Lovely property, centrally located to Bracebridge, Huntsville and Dorset areas. Cottage was very neat, clean, spacious and well equipped. The property had a nice fire pit area, lake was clean and clear with sandy bottom and best of all a beautiful sandy beach area perfect for kids and dog to play. Property manager was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely go back to this property.

Exceeding Expectations

We had an amazing time at this beautiful cottage. The beach and lake were fantastic, along with the dock, canoe and paddleboat that were well used. The water was so clear. The cottage was very private from neighbouring cottages. The kitchen had everything you could need along with a large dining table for family meals. Cottage was larger than expected - ample room for lounging and sleeping comfortably. We would definitely return!

Love at first sight.

From the moment we arrived, we felt so comfortable in this cottage. Classic Muskoka cottage feel but with all necessary amenities. The lake is very clean & clear. sandy beach area & shallow entry is perfect for little ones plus there’s a floating lily pad & dock deep enough for older swimmers. Host responded right away to any enquiries. Everyone in the group wants to return next summer!

The most magical spot!

This cottage is spectacular. It’s so much nicer than the photos, and so much better stocked than we expected! The gradual sandy beach is a dream with kids (our party had kids ages 2, 3, 4 and 6). This feature made everything so much more relaxing for us because we could sit back and let the kids play independently knowing they were safe, and is pretty rare in the Muskoka area! The property is also quite large and very flat so you’re not walking 100 steps up from the dock to the house, and there’s a massive flat grassy area to play directly outside the door where most cottages are built on an unusable hill. There are so many toys and games, don’t even pack any it’s all there! Jamie was incredibly communicative. This place truly blew me away, especially if you have young kids, stop looking just book this one :)

The property is amazing. All the pictures posted on the website are so genuine. Evrything promised was done. The Cottage is so well equipped for anything we as a family needed. We went with our child and grandparents and my husband's sister. There were toys for the child, books, indoor toys, the kitchen had everything the grandma needed for cooking and baking, so many movies to enjoy on dvd player in the living room. The cottage is spacious so that each one of us had a chance to have find their own quiet corner if we needed it. The cottage is well maintained, clean and beautiful. Enough room to park the cars. The comunication with owners is so efficient and professional. The only thing I didn't like is that we had to leave at the end of our vacation 🙃 We would definitely like to stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

My family enjoyed a wonderful week at the Robertson's cottage. The cottage is very clean and has all the amenities that you could possibly need. The lake was very refreshing and Jamie was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We look forward to another visit next year.

All ten of us had a great time!

We spent a wonderful August week at The Roberts’ cottage. All ten of us had a great time! The kids enjoyed digging in the sand, swimming out to the raft (Spider Island),going for paddle boat rides and canoe rides. There is a place to launch the boat. Lots of chairs throughout the property to enjoy the views, the sunshine and shade and the peace and quiet. The cottage is well equipped. The kitchen has lots of room for everyone to help make pancakes or dinner, The table area allowed us to eat all our meals together and discuss our day. We especially loved the two fridges with lots of freezer space. There are enough beds to sleep more than 10. We were able to have camp fires every night and the kids enjoyed the many games stocked in the cottage. Overall we were impressed with the cottage and hope to return next year.

All The Comforts of Home Without Sacrificing that Cozy Cottage Feeling

We had a lovely time at the Roberts' cottage. It had all the amenities we needed to keep us more than comfortable - and it had that cozy cottage feeling that we really wanted on our family get-away. The lake was perfect and the sandy beach provided hours and hours of fun for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make all our recipes from home. It was clean and well maintained. There were friendly touches left by our hosts that made us feel welcome and valued! We hope to return in the future and would recommend this cottage to anyone!

Great place to stay

Very clean, comfortable and spacious. We had 10 people in our group and we never had an issue finding spots to sleep. The location is great and the owner was very responsive and great to deal with. Looking forward to staying again next year!
