    Treetops Cottage is located in the private community of Riverbend in beautiful Lake Lure NC. Set in the foot hills of the blue ridge mountains, the cottage is nestled on a three acre lot of hardwood forest with most trees surpassing 60 feet tall. You will see plenty of maples, oaks, poplars, sour wood, cedars, pines and Mountain Laurel (a wild bush that burst into flowers during spring time). The wrap around deck has gates at all exits which is a great safety feature for small children and inquisitive pets.

    Located in Riverbend, a gated community, you will have access to a private beach where you can enjoy swimming, canoeing or a have a picnic next to the beach. There also picnic areas next to the Broad River, waterfall, swimming hole and nature trails.

    ATTRACTIONS IN TH AREA OF LAKE LURE:
    • Three golf courses only minutes away.
    • Horseback riding at Cedar Creek Stables, only 10 minutes away.
    • Canopy Ridge Farm Zip lining only 5 minutes away.

    •Plenty of wineries within a 30-minute drive (Overmountain, Burntshirt, Point Lookout, Parker-Binns, etc...).
    • And many more attractions, activities, festivals and events to do in the surrounding cities (Rutherfordton, Forrest City, Chimney Rock, Saluda, etc...) and the Greater Western North Carolina area all year round.

    The casual atmosphere is ideal for family vacations or a romantic retreat. Sit on the covered porch and enjoy the beautiful sunsets or in front of the stone fireplace by a cozy wood burning fire. The great room with its high ceiling and many windows allows you to enjoy the outdoor views. The wrap around deck provides seating areas on all sides of the house where you can see a herd of deer that cross the property almost every morning and evening.

I can't say enough about the accommodations that we rented for the week of Christmas. The neighborhood was quiet and Serene and the family who rents it was accessible to answer questions. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't already available to us in the house. We definitely rent from this family again.

Peaceful retreat

The property was serene and quiet. A great place to get away. The cottage was clean and well kept. Daniel, our host, was very attentive and there if we needed anything at all. The family had a great time! The cottage will be at the top of the list for our next visit.

Home away from home

We had a great stay at Treetops cottage. We found all the necessities for a family, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, games and great outdoor spaces. The condo's lake and river access are a great daily activity, bring your paddleboard or canoe! Enjoy your stay in the NC mountains at this great family cabin.

An amazing place

This property was amazing. The views were spectacular and the wrap around deck made deer watching easy. I highly recommend this home. It was very clean and exceptionally stocked.

very satisified property, was very accurate with post, very clean and well furnished, comm with property managers was best and easiest we have had pleasure of dealing with. plenty of room great views lots of wild life, (even saw a bobcat).

Great vacation spot with my family!! We will most definitely come back. Cottage was very clean and well stocked for our needs. Loved the wraparound deck, very relaxing. Owners were great and informative.

Lovely cottage

A beautiful cottage tucked away amongst nature, felt as if we were in a treehouse. Very clean & cozy. Our goldendoodle puppy & 2 boys had a blast playing on the wraparound gated porch. Looking forward to our next stay. A great getaway location.

We enjoyed our time at this location. Absolutely recommend if you have dogs. The beach and watering hole and nature walks inside Riverbend were the highlight! Beautiful.
