Offering a commanding view of Lake Lure from its expansive, wrap-around deck, this five-bedroom home is a place to experience the beauty of North Carolina - from spaces both inside and out.

This log home sits on a hillside just above the lake's southwestern shores, with grounds that provide lovely views of the water and the neighboring ridgelines and treetops. It's a scene you can take in from the private hot tub and the shaded lounge and picnic areas on the garden-level patio, as you grill or relax in a rocking chair on the main floor's wrap-around deck, or as you build a fire in the stone firepit encircled by Adirondack chairs.

The air-conditioned interior is a study in comfort and recreation, with natural wood details throughout and generous windows that frame the lake. The great room is a place to watch movies in the warmth of the gas fireplace, play board games around the dining room table, and lend a hand in the open kitchen with its full suite of stainless steel appliances (including a French-door refrigerator and a dishwasher). After-dinner fun awaits in the game room downstairs, which is home to a second gas fireplace, another TV, theater-style recliners, foosball and pool tables, and arcade consoles.

When it's time to turn in, you'll have five bedrooms to choose from, each with cabin-like wood walls and its own TV. Additional amenities include two washer/dryers and free high-speed WiFi for your convenience. An additional perk, this home is decorated for Christmas from November 30th through January 3rd if you choose to book it for your family winter getaway.

Please note that this home is listed as Handicapped Accessible, but not ADA compliant. We are happy to provide more details for those who may need more information about access.

This home is ready and available for renters and was not damaged by Hurricane Helene. We look forward to you coming to enjoy the property.

Check-in time: 4:00 PM.
Check-out time: 10:00 AM.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
An EV charging station is available nearby at the Lake Lure Washburn Marina. (limited access at this time).
There are two washers/dryers (one set on the main floor and one set in the basement).

THINGS TO KNOW

-Lake Lure is a man made lake that is drawn down 12 feet each winter season for maintenance. This will impact shorelines. Water will be back up to normal levels in mid April.
-Lake Lure is currently not accessible due to continued clean up from Helene, but the local Lake Lure community welcomes visitors and looks forward to hosting you.
