THE DOWNTOWNER....Largest House on Main St. 14 Beds, Sleeps 20

Located on Main Street in downtown Lake Geneva, this former bland office building has undergone a ground up restoration that will sleep 20 with 9 bedrooms (one in the Sunroom) and 7-1/2 bathrooms. Architecturally edgy, contemporary and laugh-out-loud design throughout. Great shared gathering spaces will make the most of your time with friends and family. The interior showcases a mix of industrial design, comfortable furnishings and flea market finds. The large open concept dining area has 16 ft. of dining space, making it easy for a large group to mingle and entertain. The spacious, fully stocked kitchen has 2 refrigerators to accommodate your groceries easily. Sit in comfort on 3 deep leather sofas around the 65 inch HD Flat screen smart TV. Each bedroom has a signature style of it's own, offering the highest level of comfort and privacy. Top of the line mattresses, pillows and luxurious linens throughout. When you are ready to escape the group, each bedroom has a large HD flat screen TV. Six of the nine bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms (the remaining three bedrooms share a bath). Each bathrooms features a rain shower head and one of a kind furnishings. Hair dryers, shampoo and body wash are provided in each.
Enjoy the great outdoors on the two large decks overlooking a wetland preserve and park or party in the private courtyard.
Leave all your worries about driving and parking behind when you stay at The Downtowner. Your favorite restaurants, shopping and everything that magical Lake Geneva has to offer is a short walk away. Disclaimer- Being centrally located to the downtown means that you will hear some traffic noise. There is also a bar/restaurant next door with an outdoor courtyard. If you are looking for total peace and quiet, this may not be the right fit for you. White noise machines provided for your sleeping comfort.

Perfect stay for a bachelorette party!

I booked this property for a bachelorette party and everyone had a great time! It is in the perfect location for being able to walk to everything, which was perfect for a large group! The kitchen/living room space was perfect for all the girls to hang out together and play games. Parking is very limited, but there is a free lot nearby that we were able to utilize as well.

Met Our Needs and Beyond

Great location for "opportunity fun"; however, the one location challenge was the close proximity to the bar next door. Although the noise level was loud, they had great food! Parking availability at the site was limited, but a close free parking lot answered that need. We didn't really use the outside decks and patio due to the cold weather, but it's pretty awesome. Appreciated the communication with our contact for the property.

Wedding weekend

We have a group of family and friends stay here with us for our son’s wedding. It was amazing. Very clean, lots of indoor and outdoor space, and great amenities. It’s right in the heart of DT which was perfect. I highly recommend this for any large group.

Will Stay Again

This property is always well maintained and the property manager available. We have rented here numerous times because the space offers ensuites to most bedrooms. It is great for entertaining. The large outdoor space is nice for a cookout and it has a nice view and lots of seating. Location is Ideal if you want to go into town as you can walk to everything. We had seven couples and it never felt crowded. Its a great getaway.

Property was perfect for what we had (8 guys getting together to play golf and catch up). Clean, perfect layout, awesome outdoor and indoor gathering space. Only downside was noise from the bar next door at times.

Our wedding was in Lake Geneva and we rented the Downtowner for our bridal party to stay in. Absolutely perfect location with walking distance to downtown and our venue. Great overall experience and would definitely rent again!

Amazing weekend getaway!

Perfect home for a stay with a large group of family friends! We had so much fun and loved spending time in the kitchen and the patios! (Kitchen is well appointed for all meals) Such a great location to walk anywhere in downtown lake geneva. Don't hesitate to book this home for your next stay!

AC broken majority of the weekend with resolution

The location and overall property were awesome. Loved having many outdoor spaces and so many bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our large group. The problem was that the AC didn’t work for a good portion of our stay. The owner sent an HVAC out but this didn’t resolve the problem. I spent most of one of our days interacting with the host instead of enjoying my weekend away. Her responses were very short and she seemed irritated every time I reached out. Hopefully the AC will get fixed as otherwise we had a nice stay.

Perfect for large wedding group

This home comfortably handles a large group. There’s room for everyone - plenty of seating and a great kitchen area and outdoor deck areas thst easily handle guests for a cookout. We had a great time at the Downtowner. The owner is wonderful to work with. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

2024 Husky Cup

3 Great Days in Lake Geneva playing golf with 8 College buddies that have become life long friends since there days at UConn back in the 80's. Accommodations, courses and time together were outstanding.

Great location!

We stayed here over our wedding weekend with most of our bridal party and it was perfect! The location was amazing and a 5 minute-ish walk to everything we wanted to do. Tisha was an excellent host and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. This is the perfect property if you have a large group as there are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the main hangout space has plenty of seating. We will be back!

Best Bachelorette Spot in LG

I cannot imagine a better place to stay with a big group in Lake Geneva. It is located right in the heart of downtown, and every girl in our huge group had her own bedroom and bathroom. It was perfect.

Bachelorette Party Perfection

The Downtowner couldn't have been more perfect for our group. We loved the outdoor area and the ease of getting around downtown LG. Everyone was pleased with the house and would come back again. Having a bathroom in almost all bedrooms was a major perk and we appreciated there being 2 refrigerators as well.
