This private 2 bedroom 2 bath ground floor unit provides nice ocean views and easy ocean access on the west side of Maui. Walk just a few feet out your unit to the ocean and bask in the sand! This unit offers lots of lanai space for you to enjoy and is close to the pool and BBQ's at the resort. When you're ready, go for a swim in the ocean, surf at Pohaku Park, or just enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The well appointed kitchen and dining room are ready for the evenings you decide to stay in and cook. Walk to the shops and restaurants at Kahana Gateway and Kahana Manor.

The unit has a washer/dryer in unit and one of the bathrooms has a bathtub. The master bedroom has a large relaxing bed and provides great privacy from the second bedroom outfitted with 2 twin beds. Enjoy the comforts and conveniences of home with a fully stocked kitchen. After a fun day in the sun, enjoy the great breeze or have a Mai Tai's and watch the sun sets off the ocean. Free Wi-Fi and cable included. Truly a great place to relax.

The unit is well stocked with kitchen ware and appliances, we also provide:
- beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, sorry no snorkeling gear,
- a toiletries starter kit sufficient for short stay,
- a starter kit of laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and kitchen cleaning supplies,
- drip coffeemaker and some coffee to get the trip started
- linens, towels, etc.

Wonderful place. Served our needs quite well. It is well stocked with kitchen essentials. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and of Lanai from the lanai. The grounds were beautifully kept with tropical foliage everywhere. The condo is just steps from a nice small beach.
Enjoyed the sunset every night.

Amazing experience

Fantastic experience. Great location, the beach outside the property is not crowded and fun for the kids. Spent lots of time at the pool and used the grill. AC worked well. Zero complaints.

Magical garden stay in aunties condo

I hesitate to give the condo top marks because I want to keep it a secret. It was absolutely perfect. All of the bad review issues were non issues - there are 3 AC units and noise is not an issue. The lanai out into a garden paradise will remain as a core memory for me. My husband said repeatedly that he felt like he was staying at his favorite aunties place. Our 11 year old was in heaven. It was spacious, clean, well appointed. Perfect.

Wondering family vacation

Was very comfortable for all 5 of us. Three adults and 2 children. The location was convenient and was centrally located. They had everything we needed, even beach chairs. Loved that we got to watch the turtles every night come a shore to our beach. Great place to stay.

Location was amazing!

You cannot pick a better location. The condo is ground level, with beach views, easy access to the beach for sunset and swims. The condo is well stocked with everything you would need for cooking, beach gear, etc. There is no air conditioning, but ample fans are provided to keep you cool. It was not an issue for us to sleep or be comfortable. The cable in living room doesn’t work, but it did work in the bedrooms. Also, the living room screen door does not lock and bedroom screen door does not open. I’m not sure why the owners do not have this fixed as it has been pointed out by others in previous reviews. This is a safety issue for sure. All in all, we appreciated the amenities and location and the benefits far outweighed the things that weren’t ideal. Nothing is ever perfect with travelling and you get the good with the bad. Place was clean and owners were quick to respond by emails.

It was a place to stay

The condo was clean, outdated yes but clean. Loved having two bathrooms. No beach towels but there is 2 nice beach chairs. The scenery was so nice the view was excellent. And being on the ground floor it was like you had your own garden and lawn. The pool is close by the beach was very nice, just walking distance. I was wanting something close to the beach for my teenage daughters and this was it.. There is a rental shop across the street for all your water needs. Now for the down sides and some are petty but im on vacation and I paid alot of money to be here and relax. The room is right across from the elevator so everyone goes past your condo and it is very noisy. There is no AC, which I understand is common here but for the love. There are screens on all the doors, including the one across from the elevator, and windows and when there is a breeze, which is the majority of the time it is fine. But at night they recommend you close all the doors and windows, one due to potential theft, two because there are no locks on the screens. So you are sleeping in a tuna can sweaty and uncomfortable. Then there is a TV in every room but they do not work. I reached out about this and the safety issue due to no locks, and that the listing said nothing about not having ac and I received nothing back. So essentially you are renting a place to literally lay your head and take a bath, a place to meet not to live and relax. If you are not planning on being here too much its great, but not if you have anyone that wants to stay in.

Will not rent from this property management company again.

The property was not clean! The floors were very dirty, we found old food under the edges of the counter when we swept. The refrigerator and freezer had broken shelves and boxes of baking soda smelled so bad in both that even touching them your hands smelled as did everything that touched them. The master bathroom shower did not drain. There was sand, hair and dirt in the standing water up over your feet and ankles, vry gross as this was during the first shower. The other bathroom shower had sand in it, so it appears it was not clean. There was a sharp spot in the drain that scratch you if you stepped on it. The TV in the living room worked occasionally but not without several attempts to get going. There were items under the beds which clearly had not been cleaned under for some time. The dinning room table chairs were covered with a layer of dust. The garbage disposal did not work at all. I would not rent from this property management company again.

Great Location

Overall this was a great stay! It was awesome to have the option to stay in and cook, and the beach access just couldn’t be beat! However, it was very uncomfortable due to the heat. This unit has no A/C, and the patio screens do not have locks so we had to close the patio doors to lock it, which made it insanely hot, even with all the fans going. My kids’ room was right off the elevator area, so I couldn’t keep the window open as it was noisy, and again, the window screens don’t lock, which was a safety concern for us. Another concern I had was that it was not communicated to us that the management company was coming to spray for pests. I only realized that they were trying to enter the premises when I got out of the shower and heard the door handle jiggling as they were trying to find the key to get in. (They said they were knocking on the door while I was in the shower and my family was at the beach.) This made us feel quite uncomfortable and I would have appreciated an email or phone call to let us know that this was going to happen.

Maui condo

Condo is located across from the elevator which was always very noisy. It is a ground floor unit which doesn't get much air flow, was very warm even with fans. Patio screen doors do not lock have to close entire patio door to lock which is inconvenient and hot. Furniture is dated and dirty could use some updating and a good cleaning.
