  • Enjoy your very own tropical paradise in one of West Maui’s newest, legally permitted rental properties. You’ll appreciate the magnificent ocean view along with a private, heated swimming pool at Aloha Spirt Maui.

    This luxury Balinese 2-bedroom, 2-bath house is tucked away behind tall bamboo foliage that creates a private oasis. Pocket doors open to allow a large indoor / outdoor living area. Lounge chairs under the pool cabana add another relaxing spot to enjoy the large ocean and island views while taking in the cool breezes. Lots of space to relax and soak up the sun. Enjoy the outdoor barbecue area and dining.

    Perfect for your honeymoon, a romantic getaway, or anyone desiring a relaxing vacation. Read a book by the heated pool, watch spectacular sunsets from the lanai, feed the fish in your own koi pond, pick fruit from the numerous fruit trees, watch spectacular sunsets from the private lanai, and enjoy the stars from your secluded outdoor bathtub.

    Fountains in the pools, a sunken shower tub, large outdoor showers, and an entryway with steps across a koi pond to lead into the home express some of the many detailed features of this unique home. Tropical landscaping and numerous fruit trees can be found on this 2.4 acre property.

    The master bedroom features a king size bed, walk in closet, beautiful bath with 2 sinks, sunken shower tub and you own private outdoor tub.

    The second bedroom features the option of a king bed or 2 twin beds, and a bathroom with a fully enclosed outdoor shower. Upon booking, please state preference for king or twin beds. If bed configuration needs to be changed upon arrival, there will be a fee of $100.

Serene and Peaceful was just that. We loved everything about the home. Very well equipped. The owners even turned up the heat in the pool for those of us Arizonians that are used to warmer water! The view is lovely and you are close to Lahaina and Kaanapali for shopping and dining. We highly recommend this home for a couple or a couple with one or two small children. Two thumbs up!

Great home, quiet location

Overall, this was one of the best VRBO properties we've experienced. The online description matched the property. It is located ina quiet, residential neighborhood only 10 minutes away from shopping, restaurants, and beaches. Very nicely equipped with coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards, and plenty of beach towels. Well-stocked kitchen. The grounds were beautiful, although the pool got very dirty each day requiring some work to get it swimmable. Overall, highly recommend.

Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful stay at the house. It's beautiful, private, clean, and centrally located. It also has all the beach/pool/snorkeling gear you could want. We didn't have to rent a single thing during our stay. Would highly recommend for a couple or small family.

Absolutely perfect!

This rental hit every expectation I had! The house included everything we needed from coolers, beach chairs, floats, and even some dumbbells for a couple early morning workouts. This place was simply amazing. The only thing is that if you like the idea of swimming at night, the pool could be a few degrees warmer. Felt perfect during the day, but just a tad chilly at night. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back!

Whales galore!

This place is incredible, I typically don't splurge this much, but it was well worth it. There was 4 of us in all and we spent a lot of time here relaxing in the pool and watching the whales breach. The ocean is distant but the whales are so massive you can see them rather easily. It's about 15 minutes from anything and very private. There's a cute beach down the way that can get busy, but also convenient. About 20 minutes from Kaanapali resort area and 30 minutes from Kihei. Kitchen area opens up to an outdoor dining area. Don't forget to feed the Koi and turtle out front. Fruit trees on the property to make lemonade and orange juice. Tons of amenities for the beach, kitchen and bathroom.

Property manager Debbie checked in with us before and during our stay. The home was so clean and welcoming and the beds and pillows offer a wonderful night’s sleep. The grounds and view were gorgeous. We loved the beautiful plumeria and hibiscus trees. The koi pond and friendly turtle Harold were another highlight. We loved and used the outdoor shower every day. The home is a short drive to many beautiful beaches and we went snorkeling at a different beach everyday. We wanted to spend as much time as possible in this lovely home and enjoyed using the kitchen and outdoor grill. We bought amazing fresh-off-the-boat fish at Fish Market Maui and cooked it at the house. For delicious desserts we made several trips to nearby Leoda’s Pies. Just the most wonderful vacation we could have hoped for. Thank you!

Aloha spirit review

The pictures are much better than the actual property The house is infested with bugs, mice and ants! Bug strips in garage had dead mice, centipedes and all kinds of bugs, which explained the terrible smell in the garage,,,which by the way u can use but the stink and all the junk in the garage it wasnt worth the hassle. It also needs a very deep cleaning, we spent several hours cleaning, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. All of the dishes needed washing, and the windows on the doors to the lanai hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. All of the windows and screens were filthy. The outside master shower is inoperable, shower is broke and the tub is filthy and doesnt hold water. Pool was filthy until the 3rd day out of 6 days we were there. Couldnt use it due to all of the crap in the pool. Contacted the rental company and our contact person was on vacation in the middle of the ocean so very poor response time. Poor lighting in both bathrooms when trying to get ready at night, had to use bedroom in order to see. We went and bought towels due to the tiny and very smelly towels provided. They are very thin cheap towels. Washer and dryer are so small and difficult to operate,,skandanavian brand had to Google instructions on how to operate. The patio furniture and cushions are old and both falling apart. Couldnt sit on the couch on the lanai due to rotted and broken furniture needs major repairs or basically replaced Lounge chairs need repair or replaced. The cushions were splitting open and stained, just sat on our towels, since we werent sure what the stains were. Overall the worst rental we have ever had and we have rented all over the country. I can tolerate alot, but this was just awful. I will never use this rental company again, they should inspect houses before renting them. I would have rated "0" if it was a choice. The person that owns the property needs to invest in cleaning and repairs before anyone else rents this place.

Bali style house a perfect "last stop" on Maui

During walk around identified that patio doors not working properly. The doors were usable, just didn't slide open. Doors were fixed on our last day there. The other issue, was the pool heater not functioning properly.We first saw this property over 2 years ago, and when the house was available during this visit, we jumped at the chance. Location is excellent as is the ocean view. The outside living area with the many fruit trees, allows one to "live" in the Maui Spirit. The morning bird noise adds to the ambience. As does Harold the turtle in the Koi fish pond out front. This was a fantastic place for our last few days on Maui. We'll be back!

We didn’t want for anything. My husband is an outdoors guy and kept saying he felt like this home was built for him! On one side of the house was the quiet tranquil koi pond and the other had the pool with the amazing views. Every morning, I had my coffee while overlooking the ocean. The sunsets were gorgeous, too! In the informational binder, there is a list and map of all the fruit trees. This was super helpful and one evening, we walked around to see them all. Unfortunately most things weren’t ripe enough, but we did pull a couple of limes for our mixed drinks. We also loved the outdoor shower for when we returned sandy from the beach. Both showers had shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. The amenities were amazing! The garage has everything you could want for a day on the beach. Coolers, umbrellas, Tommy Bahama chairs, floats, boogie boards, noodles... The kitchen was the same. As soon as we started to wonder if they had something, we found it! We did make a Costco run (best prices) and Safeway run while there and cooked breakfasts and some dinners. Unfortunately, the dishwasher broke right before we got there. Lynn was great though and contacted us while we were on our flight over to let us know. The owners also left a gift card for Mala Tavern for our inconvenience. It was one of the best meals we had there! I highly recommend getting reservations for 6 -6:30 so you can see the sunset. It was so pretty!This place was like going to a fully stocked family members home. If we ever go back to Maui, we would definitely come back. The views are just so breathtaking!! The location is terrific too. You are more centrally located. We could get to the Northwest side of the island just as quickly as the southwest side. Each day our morning consisted of deciding which beach should we go to! I will

The view from the back of the house is amazing. You can see so much! And it's different every time. The property is beautiful, Harold & the koi are peaceful. You can hear the fountain from the 2nd bedroom. The outdoor showers are great. Would return in a heartbeat!

Amazing property....

Lovely view of the coast/beach! Saw plenty of whales. Fully stocked with everything you need.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you’re thinking about going to Maui, stay here. The house is absolutely gorgeous and the view is stellar! House was spotless and well appointed. There’s even a nice gift basket waiting for you. The grounds of the property from the pool to the lanai to the koi pond and more add so much to the wonderful one with nature experience you have here. Whale watching from patio was a big big thrill. They literally put on a show! The location can’t be beat as well. 5 minutes to Lahaina and Lahaina is about as centrally located on Maui and you’re going to get. You must get coffee and breakfast at Cafe Cafe and you must have dinner at Sole e Pepe. I cannot recommend staying Aloha Spirit Maui enough!
