Serene and Peaceful was just that. We loved everything about the home. Very well equipped. The owners even turned up the heat in the pool for those of us Arizonians that are used to warmer water! The view is lovely and you are close to Lahaina and Kaanapali for shopping and dining. We highly recommend this home for a couple or a couple with one or two small children. Two thumbs up!

Great home, quiet location

Overall, this was one of the best VRBO properties we've experienced. The online description matched the property. It is located ina quiet, residential neighborhood only 10 minutes away from shopping, restaurants, and beaches. Very nicely equipped with coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards, and plenty of beach towels. Well-stocked kitchen. The grounds were beautiful, although the pool got very dirty each day requiring some work to get it swimmable. Overall, highly recommend.

Whales galore!

This place is incredible, I typically don't splurge this much, but it was well worth it. There was 4 of us in all and we spent a lot of time here relaxing in the pool and watching the whales breach. The ocean is distant but the whales are so massive you can see them rather easily. It's about 15 minutes from anything and very private. There's a cute beach down the way that can get busy, but also convenient. About 20 minutes from Kaanapali resort area and 30 minutes from Kihei. Kitchen area opens up to an outdoor dining area. Don't forget to feed the Koi and turtle out front. Fruit trees on the property to make lemonade and orange juice. Tons of amenities for the beach, kitchen and bathroom.

Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful stay at the house. It's beautiful, private, clean, and centrally located. It also has all the beach/pool/snorkeling gear you could want. We didn't have to rent a single thing during our stay. Would highly recommend for a couple or small family.

Absolutely perfect!

This rental hit every expectation I had! The house included everything we needed from coolers, beach chairs, floats, and even some dumbbells for a couple early morning workouts. This place was simply amazing. The only thing is that if you like the idea of swimming at night, the pool could be a few degrees warmer. Felt perfect during the day, but just a tad chilly at night. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back!

Amazing view

The view from the back of the house is amazing. You can see so much! And it's different every time. The property is beautiful, Harold & the koi are peaceful. You can hear the fountain from the 2nd bedroom. The outdoor showers are great. Would return in a heartbeat!

Two weeks in paradise!

The house is an absolute gem with attention to detail everywhere you look. The pictures don't do it justice and the host had it stocked with amenities that went way beyond our expectations. The location is perfect - close to Lahaina and everything on the West side and an easy hop to the by-pass when you want to go elsewhere on Maui. Loved swimming in the pool morning, noon and night; picking oranges and fruit in the grove; and sitting with coffee, watching the Koi each morning. If you want a lovely home base that's so nice you may not want to go anywhere else - you should check out this beautiful house & property!

Simply stunning, like a painting!

Everywhere you turned was a view worthy of an artist’s rendering. Loved being up on a mountainside as you could view the ocean from far back. We used the heated pool almost nonstop, and the outdoor showers were sublime! The kids enjoyed the koi pond and the resident turtle, nestled in a gorgeous front entryway. And the huge glass/screen sliding doors that opened up to the lanai may have been the best feature…it was a toss up between that and the pool! The house had almost everything we needed, hardly needed to go shopping at all. And the amenities were top notch. We truly enjoyed this place so much and are already planning our next stay!! Finally, the property manager was incredibly responsive, and even actively checked in with us to make sure everything was going well (but not intrusive in any way).

Paradise - even in a pandemic

A private spot with gorgeous sunset views. The well stocked kitchen (and outdoor grill), plus a heated pool, pool toys and even a yoga matt made this a perfect place to spend the pandemic holiday. Quick access to Lahaina makes it a great choice when we get back to normal too.

Aloha spirit review

The pictures are much better than the actual property The house is infested with bugs, mice and ants! Bug strips in garage had dead mice, centipedes and all kinds of bugs, which explained the terrible smell in the garage,,,which by the way u can use but the stink and all the junk in the garage it wasnt worth the hassle. It also needs a very deep cleaning, we spent several hours cleaning, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. All of the dishes needed washing, and the windows on the doors to the lanai hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. All of the windows and screens were filthy. The outside master shower is inoperable, shower is broke and the tub is filthy and doesnt hold water. Pool was filthy until the 3rd day out of 6 days we were there. Couldnt use it due to all of the crap in the pool. Contacted the rental company and our contact person was on vacation in the middle of the ocean so very poor response time. Poor lighting in both bathrooms when trying to get ready at night, had to use bedroom in order to see. We went and bought towels due to the tiny and very smelly towels provided. They are very thin cheap towels. Washer and dryer are so small and difficult to operate,,skandanavian brand had to Google instructions on how to operate. The patio furniture and cushions are old and both falling apart. Couldnt sit on the couch on the lanai due to rotted and broken furniture needs major repairs or basically replaced Lounge chairs need repair or replaced. The cushions were splitting open and stained, just sat on our towels, since we werent sure what the stains were. Overall the worst rental we have ever had and we have rented all over the country. I can tolerate alot, but this was just awful. I will never use this rental company again, they should inspect houses before renting them. I would have rated "0" if it was a choice. The person that owns the property needs to invest in cleaning and repairs before anyone else rents this place.
