This property is extremely well fitted, with good size kitchen including fridge-freezer, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and ample kitchen equipment. There are two double bedrooms (one en-suite) and a twin bedroom with full sized single bunk-beds.These can be arranged a 2 singles.On the ground floor there are bunk beds. Some bedrooms have AC. A large baby cot and high chair are available on request. All 3 bathrooms have showers and the en-suite bathroom linked to the master bedroom has a full sized bath.The third bathroom also doubles as a utility room with a washing machine, and iron. The living room area provides a flat screen TV, with a wireless activated UK TV system, so all English channels! A DVD player and unlimited free WiFi. Garden with pool is enclosed and private at the back of the property, with a stone built BBQ, shower and outside dining area. Car parking in area outside property. Situated in quiet area. Roof top terrace provides superb views of the surrounding area and sea, and is also ideal for sunbathing. There are also terraces attached to both double bedrooms.
The local village is a 5 minutes walk away where you have a large choice of restaurants, bars and shops. Luz beach is a large beach in a bay, safe for children, sunbeds for hire and water sports available. Beach towels are provided in the villa. Excursions can be booked in the village for the local water parks, fishing trips, etc. This villa is ideal for families with children of all ages, golfers or couples. Sleeps 8 persons.

Lovely spot close to everything

Great location, wonderful choice of sunny spots to relax, along with a nice pool to dip in. Very well equipped. Mattresses a little on the hard side was our only negative!

Exceptional Experience with a Fantastic Host

I had a fantastic stay at this holiday house in Portugal. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was outstanding—friendly, easy to communicate with, and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning in the future.

Great location and property, tricky to find

We had an excellent time in this lovely property with easy walking access to the beach and beachfront restaurants. We really enjoyed the pool and backyard area which was private and a great way to cool off after a day of adventuring. We ran into a little trouble during check in (be sure to double check your map location if you are using navigational systems) but our hosts were very skilled and managed to find us and direct us to the correct location. Overall we had a wonderful time!

Un bon emplacement avec la plage à proximité. Nous avons passé de bonnes vacances, maison au calme et piscine privée mais la maison manque d’entretien : terrasse sale et transats usés sur le toit, fuite des robinets de salle de bain, eau des douches difficiles à régler souvent froide, fourmis dans la cuisine. Manque le nécessaire dans la cuisine : produits vaisselle, sac poubelles et bacs à glaçons, .. que l’on a acheté),

So many memories at Casa Banff

Casa Banff is such an amazing property and is exactly as listed, there’s even a roof terrace which isn’t in the photos and is incredible. The property had amazing views and communication with the host was all good and clear. The location is good with it being 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach, town and shops. The host was welcoming and explained everything well. The property was clean and had some basic cooking and cleaning supplies that was helpful. Thank you again for the stay me and my friends will always remember our time in portugal with this great villa as a backdrop to all of the memories.

Everything we needed and more

Myself and 3 friends stayed at the villa from 28th September to 3rd October, we used the villa as a base for World Superbikes at the Portimao circuit. We were met by Jackie when we arrived, she showed us around the villa, made sure we had everything we needed, kindly gave directions to both supermarkets for our first evening stock up. We all agreed we loved the villa and its facilities especially the pool. Absolutely no complaints, the villa was everything and more, we loved every minute. Jackie was a super host, couldn’t have made us feel more comfortable. If you stay at number 17 and are looking for restaurant recommendations, Jackie and Terry have it covered. Super host, super villa in a great location with everything within walking distance. We really hope to make a return villa next year.

Could have so easily been 5 stars

Location, pool and rooftop terrace was fantastic. Beds were hard but we were given a lot of towels, pillows and blankets which were appreciated. Arrived to NO toilet paper (not even a sqaure) which was really quite disappointing after a long car ride... the entire property was void of all paper products / baggies / laundry soap / dishwasher soap, etc. Long term this isn’t an issue, but to buy all of these supplies for only 4 days (only to then leave it for the owner whindidnt supply it) really didn't make sense so it is the only reason this property didn't get 5 stars. A couple rolls of TP and a few pods of detergent goes a long way for a weary traveler!

As fotografias não correspondia na totalidade mostra mesa de pingpong e não existia.não senti muita segurança na casa porque as portadas estavam estragadas e não trancavam.a dona da casa no segundo dia mandou me sair da casa que iria buscar as chaves por causa de lhe ter informado por mensagem que coloquei os lençóis a lavar porque cheirava a mofo e ela não gostou disse que se não estava bem para sair.apenas a informei que coloquei a lavar porque eu saí para ir às compras e ela foi lá a casa e questionou-me por msg que eu estava a lavar roupas novas??que foi só ridículo eu coloquei os lençóis porque cheiravam mal.e se tem máquina não se pode colocar a roupa a lavar?senti me invadida.A casa não estava bem limpa completamente desapontada os quartos as portas não tinham chaves as casas de banho igual tínhamos duas crianças no qual não senti muita segurança vou a muitos anos para o Algarve e nunca me aconteceu semelhante.

Rundown

The property is a little rundown and not exactly as shown in the pictures. None of the locks worked on the sliding doors which poses a security issue - both the main floor sliding doors and the bedrooms on the upper floor. We didn't feel safe leaving any valuables behind while we toured during the day. The kitchen didn't have the basics in terms of spices, utensils, etc. A lot of the pots and pans were very old and unusable. They were all scratched dirty. Lighting is terrible everywhere. The beds were also not that comfortable. We used the washing machine but it did not work well and we tried to use the dryer but the noise to run it was so loud that we just pulled everything out and hung it around the house. The patio furniture is nice but the cushions are run down, dirty, stained and dingy. Not really usable for fear of staining your clothes. All and all, the place is okay but I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Great base for a stay in Luz. Perfect for our needs. Quiet area, but close enough to walk to beach, restaurants and bars. Decorated/furnished typically for similar rentals in the Algarve. Plenty of space. Would happily stay again.
