"We had a fantastic anniversary stay at the Stables. The room and bed was very comfortable and the highlight was the Japanese hot tub in the balcony! It was just perfect! We also enjoyed having dinner at the Bowling Green steakhouse and had breakfast brought to our room by room service. We look forward to staying again."

"Lovely dated property with beautiful attached coffee shop and cafe. Rooms were first class and a lot of thought gone into the design also very spacious with really comfortable bed. Room overlooks a very quaint courtyard "

"Hotel is in a beautiful setting. Just off the busy A6 but you wouldn’t believe it. Lovely gardens, every member of staff friendly, polite and looking to help you. Clearly training staff is key here. Room lovely, spacious and relaxing. "

"I cannot recommend Marehay hall Farm and host Sharon highly enough. All of the the positive descriptions reviewing a B&B apply here. Whatever your expectations are they will surely be met and exceeded. If you are looking for a quiet oasis to relax and retreat from the hustle of daily life, this is it. The gardens are work in progress and offer the potential to make this a much saught after retreat location. Would we come back. Without a doubt! "

"The room was beautiful. We had been to a wedding so they allowed late arrival back. The only feedback is they the room was stifling hot to enter. There wasn’t air conditioning but there was a fan they I was happy with. The pillows were so comfy and it was a luxurious stay. Would return. Breakfast was also delicious. "

"I rarely take the opportunity to record my stays but this deserves the time. The communication in advance was clear and very helpful. However, the location after a business day is ideal and so many personal touches, including a welcome label on the door personal to you! "the room number 12 was located next to a busy road and garage the room was Hot with no air con , had a small fan but with the windows open found it difficult to sleep. the other window overlooked the back of the hotel with the refuse lorry arriving just after 6am. the overall score is reflected in the lack of sleep through noise. "

"Wonderful stay, was welcomed and shown to the room, beautiful area and access for great walks. They were very accommodating to the fact we had a super early start one day so we would miss breakfast, however they had prepared a lovely packed lunch for us whilst out for the day. Breakfast the next day was super tasty. Room was very clean and not slept like that for a very long time."
