Birch Rise Farm ~ Farm Stay

Come stay at our cozy working farm in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Just over an hour from Boston , this private two-bedroom apartment has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

When you stay at this lovely apartment, you'll be staying on a working farm so there are no pets allowed.

The on-site farm store has grass fed beef, pasture raised pork, farm raised chicken and turkey available as well as seasonal vegetables. Fresh eggs will be provided for you during your stay.

Guests will be able to check themselves in upon arrival and will enter apartment through the red door on the detached garage.

The apartment is on the second floor so if stairs are a problem we may not be the best air bnb for you. Full kitchen and laundry are available as well as patio with outdoor dining and grill.

There is WIFI (password on wall) and a smart tv, dvd/blue ray and many movie choices.

Linens for all beds and towels are provided for your stay!!

The bar offers a spot for up to four people to eat or if you work while you are here there is space for a laptop. WIFI is strong and guests are able to work when needed while visiting with out any trouble.

The farm stay is a pet free space.

There are a couple parking spots and guests will need to be able to walk up multiple stairs to access the apartment. For this reason, the farm stay is best suited for able adults.

Kate and Ken were exceptional hosts! Their property felt like a home away from home and was exactly what they advertised. It was fun to take a tour of the farm and learn how a working farm operates. There is nothing better than farm fresh eggs to start your day along with a hot cup of coffee. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants a comfortable and cozy country hideaway. Excellent gem

This property was fantastic! Very clean and had everything we needed. The kids had so much fun meeting the animals on the farm and playing with the dogs. Kate and Ken were excellent friendly hosts. We would definitely come back. The bacon eggs and breakfast sausage were delicious! .

Great place to stay

Kate and her entire family were all very welcoming. She and her son, Hunter, gave us a great tour of the property. We had farm fresh bacon and eggs for breakfast. A gift from Kate. One of the many highlights of our stay. They are a very hardworking family. Somehow they made the time and effort to ensure that we felt at home. We look forward to our next stay at Birch Rise Farm. Thank you Kate, Ken, Henry and Hunter!

Bacon and Eggs

What a delightful place to stay! Opened with a lovely breakfast of eggs and bacon from the farm. While we visited, over 100 baby turkeys were delivered, an unexpected fun add-on. Rooms are clean and mattresses are comfy. Coffee and cream and sugar already onsite. We didnt head to the beach, but it is right around the corner. Communication was great. Highly recommend!

Excellent getaway!

The property at Birch Rise Farm is wonderful! It is far enough off of the beaten path that it is quiet and serene. Yet close enough to go grab a bite to eat in town not too far away. You can look out your window and see the sheep on the farm, and their beautiful dogs that look over the place. Kate was an excellent host and very helpful! We will definitely be going back to Birch Rise Farm!

Home Away from Home

The Osgood family were amazing hosts and made us feel very comfortable. We loved touring the farm with the sweet and mature Osgood boys. The property is beautiful and, while off the beaten path, still gives you accessibility to all the Lakes Region has to offer. The apartment was perfect for my family of 4, including 2 littles. She even had a baby gate and bed rails! We can’t wait to stay again.

Beautiful farm stay with outstanding hosts!

This is a nice sized second floor VRBO on a beautiful farm in the lakes region of NH. Myself and a group of friends booked our stay here as a place to sleep since our primary purpose of the trip was to spend as much time on the lake as possible. We thought that this would be like other VRBO experiences which feel cold and detached from the hosts - just a revenue source, but we could not be more wrong. Kate and Ken are outstanding hosts! Never have I stayed at a VRBO where I genuinely felt at home. They stayed up late just to make sure our late check-in at 10:30PM went smoothly (we're soooo sorry to keep them up still). Kate met us with fresh farm eggs, meat from the farm for breakfast, and an offer to tour the farm in the morning - not to mention was extremely accommodating of our boat on trailer (over 50ft combined length) moving cars, arranging parking, etc. The tour of the farm was extremely interesting and made our one rainy day fly by. They were truly ready to help us at a moments notice. The VRBO is well equipped with plenty of beds for 4 adults (as long as 2 are willing to share a room in separate twin beds), AC's in the bedrooms, a stocked kitchen, and a clean bathroom. We will stay here again and plan to become regular customers of the farm for fresh meat :) once we move to the area. Thank you Ken and Kate for making our stay special.

Cozy and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at the farm. The vbro was very clean, spacious and welcoming. We were able to watch the potbelly pigs from our rooms, plus all the other farm animals. Kate was a great hostess (thanks for the bacon and eggs) and her boys were very well mannered and polite. Please don’t hesitate to visit the farm. It will be worth it. P

Great place and cute animals

We only got to stay for few nights since we were up in Laconia for a softball tournament. The place was perfect and over exceeded our expectations. The Host was great and the farm was and extra treat. My son fell in love with the piggies! Wish we had more time there. We hope to be back again when we have more time to enjoy! Oh, and the farm fresh eggs and the gifts were a nice touch! We made a few tasty breakfast sandwiches.

A Hidden Gem in New Hampshire

Kate and Ken are the type of hosts that make you feel like family even before you check into the property. Kate was quick with responses and was very accommodating as we were unable to make check in on time. The purpose for our stay was pleasure, we had family with us and wanted to enjoy some of the activities in New Hampshire. We had our weekend planned out for us ahead of time but one small adjustment we made came as a great suggestion from Kate. The town they live in had their annual year celebration - food trucks and fireworks. We had no idea Kate and her husband own a Food Truck, we headed down to the town celebration and were greeted with Tacos made fresh from their food truck and had wonderful conversations with the locals in the area - we also had a massive fireworks display to enjoy. Being able to enjoy a small piece of their home town celebrations made it a weekend we would not forget. Kate is so close with everyone in the town, we really felt the strong sense of community and how close everyone is and how well everyone knows each other. Back to the house: We had fresh eggs in the fridge upon arrival, we had plenty of space to sleep, house was clean as expected and before we left we got to enjoy a tour of the FARM. We were able to meet their children and their dog. When I tell you this experience made us feel like we were a part of the family - it really was. Kate and Ken are good, honest and hard working people. We will be back to stay and support them again in the future.
