Quietly located vacation apartment Mundt

The idyllic Baltic Sea resort of Laboe (approx. 5500 inhabitants) is picturesquely located at the exit of the Kiel Fjord on the eastern shore. The former fishing village has developed into a popular holiday and bathing resort. Laboe is an old place and was first mentioned in documents in 1240. The name Laboe is derived from the Slavic "Lubodne", which means "swan place". And even today the swan is the Laboes heraldic animal. The long, fine sandy beach slopes gently towards the fjord, making it particularly recommended for families with small children. The water park is located directly on the beach promenade. With the Kieler Förde, one of the most busy waterways in the world, on the doorstep, "beach life" offers a special attraction for "seers" who can watch the passing ships extensively. The world-famous 85 m high naval memorial overlooks the panorama of Laboe. This memorial commemorates the fate of all those who stayed at sea and is intended to exhort peaceful seafaring on the open seas. When the weather is clear, the visitor has a beautiful view from above of the fjord and the Baltic Sea. For several years now, the U 995 submarine has been located at the foot of the memorial as a technical museum. The movie "Das Boot" takes place on a submarine, which like the U 995 belongs to the famous class VII C. A visit to U995 offers an impressive insight into the indescribable narrowness of which the submarine men had to live for months. The Kiel Fjord is considered the sailing mecca ("Kiel Week") par excellence. In the immediate vicinity are the Danish islands of Langeland and Aero, the so-called "Danish South Pacific". Exhausted sailors can rest and relax in the Labo marina.

Die Tage in Laboe und auf der Kieler Förde sind sehr schnell verflogen.

Wir haben ein kleines Gartenhäuschen in absolut ruhiger Lage vorgefunden. Alles ist sauber, neu und sehr durchdacht und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Die Beleuchtung lässt sich nach individuellem Geschmack gestalten, im Wohnzimmer sind schnuckelige kleine Lämpchen und schöne Beleuchtungskörper verteilt. Den Einrichtungsstil würde ich als skandinavisch bezeichnen. Die Küche gibt alles her, was man benötigt, einschließlich nobler Microwelle. Das Schlafzimmer ist sehr geräumig mit viel Schrankplatz. Außer einem sehr heimeligen (weißen!) Teppich im Wohnzimmer, gibt es keine Textilien auf dem Boden. Dies ist als Pluspunkt im Hinblick auf Sauberkeit und Hygiene zu verbuchen. Das Bad hat einen mit dem Lichtschalter verbundenen kräftigen Abzug und ist auch sauber und neu mit allem, was man braucht für die Körperpflege. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass die Feriengäste dieses schöne Objekt, übrigens mit eigenem Terrassenbereich einschließlich Markise und bequemen Sitzmöbeln, pfleglich behandeln, damit dessen Charme für die nachfolgenden Gäste erhalten bleibt.

Sehr schön gelegene kleine Wohnung mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Ideal für 2 Personen. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus haben wir auch bekommen. War allerdings Glücksache und in der Hauptsaison sicher nicht machbar. Wir würden diese Wohnung wieder buchen.

Wir haben die drei Tage sehrt genossen, sie waren sehr erholsam. Die Umgebung, das Ambiente sowie die Sehenswürdigkeiten waren sehr interessant. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Ein sehr gemütliche kleine Wohnung mitten im Zentrum von Laboe. Ruhige Lage und dennoch alles in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir waren durch und durch zufrieden. Kommen gerne wieder!
