  • ¡Pequeño y lindo refugio en el río en el corazón del valle de Cuchara!
    A 3 millas del encantador centro de Cuchara, a poca distancia de varios senderos de montaña, a 15 millas de la pequeña ciudad de La Veta, a pocas horas de Wolf Creek Ski Area, Great Sand Dunes y Denver.
    3 dormitorios. 1 habitación cuenta con cama súper lujosa king size y un baño privado de 3/4, la segunda habitación tiene una cama súper lujosa queen size, la tercera tiene un sofá cama extraíble con colchón de espuma viscoelástica (la habitación también sirve como sala de juegos). La pintoresca terraza de atrás está justo en el río con una pequeña sala de estar y barbacoa. La pequeña cocina tiene comer en la isla y todos los electrodomésticos necesarios (solo de tamaño pequeño). El área de estar delantera tiene estufa de propano, sofá y 2 sillones reclinables grandes con vistas al aire libre. 200 pies de frente al río para explorar. ¡Varios arroyos y estanques locales crean un entorno sereno para que te relajes y disfrutes! Sí, hay Wi-Fi, lento pero ahí. Televisor inteligente de 47 "en la sala de juegos con reproductor de DVD. El único inconveniente puede ser las áreas limitadas para comer para sentar 6 juntos. 4 pueden sentarse en la isla con 2 en la sala de estar (se proporcionan bandejas de TV), 4 pueden sentarse en la mesa de comedor / póker en la sala de juegos, 4 en la cubierta.

Perfect house for my wife and I. We got lots of rest and relaxation, and that was our aim in booking the house in Cuchara. Everything was as advertised.

Absolutely Wonderful

What a gem of a cabin! We slept so well hearing the sound from the river! It’s a great place to relax, catch up on your reading and look at the stars. I would highly recommend it!

Very clean. Its a, beautiful sitting in back along the river. I thought it was going to be a little more isolated, but it was quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful mountain valley cabin

Modern cabin by the river had all the conveniences of home. Viewed and heard the river from the deck of the cabin. Quiet neighborhood.

Retreat by the river

We had a wonderful time. In the river by the house we saw fish in the evening. Deer passed through the open space beside the house one morning. The stars were amazing! Great place for a weekend getaway.

Laid-back Texan

My family and I genuinely enjoyed our stay in Colorado. The cabin had beautiful views and the sound of the creek was a delight and calming. We had the pleaaure of seeing our first snow fall in Colorado and the view that morning was spectacular. We will definitely go back.

Cozy Cabin by the Creek

The sights and sounds of the river is so relaxing. Since the bedrooms are upstairs, you feel like you are in a tree house! It was our second time to stay in Cuchara and we hope we can stay again since we got married in the Cuchara Chapel 44 years ago.

Second time and it’s great.

My son and father in law have stayed here two years in a row. It’s perfect for our needs. Great location outside of Cuchara and right on a beautiful, rushing stream. 15 minutes or so to North Lake or LaVeta.

Unusual layout

There definitely were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms...but... The cabin was new and bright and clean and decorated beautifully.

Peaceful Long Weekend

The property is at a beautiful location right on the creek. The house is cozy. We went up during the winter. The property is very close to Cuchara Mountain Park. We went there and did some cross/country skiing. Not much going on around the area in the winter, but a great place to get away for some peace and quiet.

We loved every minute of our stay here! Highly recommend. House had everything we needed and more. So cozy and relaxing. Everything was very comfortable from the bed, to the recliners,to the cozy blankets around to snuggle up in on chilly evenings. Also the river behind the house. We LOVED that. Spent a lot of time out there. There's chairs by the river to relax in also. The deck is wonderful to sit at to drink morning coffee. The pics posted on the website don't really do this place justice. It's better than the pics! Thankyou for a lovely stay Jen!

Short but sweet girls getaway

The directions to the property were easy to follow, just remember to download the directions before trying to look for it as cell service is spotty. The location was great, right next to a rushing stream. The furnishings were nice And not overworn . The size was perfect for our needs. Everything was very clean. The beds and pillows and towels were amazingly comfortable as well. The kitchen was well stocked: there was cooking oil, coffee, spices, ice cubes in the ice tray, a coffee, coffee maker and even a bean grinder. If I’m ever returning to the area and it’s Just a small group of us under four people, This is the place that I will request.
