"The hotel was stunning. The hotel is in the middle of the Silent Route which is stunning. I arrived by motorbike -there was a secure garage for the motorbike. Diana was excellent on reception. The hotel is a converted warehouse. It feels like no expense has been spared when it was redeveloped. It is excellent in every respect. The rooms are excellent. It had a good gym and the menu del dia in the evening was excellent. As were the two waitresses – I didn’t catch their names but one was Brazilian and one Venezuelan I arrived in March 2026, which was a quiet time so my stay was excellent value. If I was in the area, I would absolutely stay again."

There seemed only one restaurant open that night in Castellote, which is situated on the outskirts of town, but within walking distance, at the bowling alley. We therefore still managed to get an enjoyable meal. "
