Short Walk to Kure Beach & Pier, Top Floor Unit, Family-Friendly

Great Location! Close to the beach, oceanfront park, pier and downtown Kure Beach!!! Our Place by the Pier is the entire top floor of this Kure Beach duplex. The only access is by exterior stairs. The bottom floor contains a smaller unit (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom; vrbo # 1704550) and a garage. The top and bottom units share the outdoor shower, firepit area and gas grill. Each unit has its own off-street, dedicated parking. Our Place by the Pier has parking for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway in front of the fire pit area. Note: No parking on the grass/rocks or street is allowed. There is additional, paid street parking on K Avenue in front of the house. See https://www.townofkurebeach.org/parking for additional information concerning paid parking.

Our Place by the Pier has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. This upstairs unit has just over 1800 square feet featuring a large open living and dining area located right off the spacious kitchen. Great for family gatherings! Large front deck has views of the ocean and downtown Kure Beach.

Great vacation spot

Great host. Very friendly and accommodating. All you need to bring for your stay is your clothes. They practically supply everything else. Would recommend this vacation house and the hosts to anybody

Great place to stay!

Loved this place! It was clean, cozy, and the host left plenty of essentials which was a nice surprise. It was nice being in walking distance to the pier and lots of great food options/shops. Host was super communicative and sweet!

You should totally book it!

My husband and I celebrated 4th of July weekend with a group of our old college friends, and had a great stay on the top floor unit . Melinda & Glenn are two of the best hosts I've ever had during a rental experience — both incredibly kind and great with their communication! Easy check-in and the space was very clean. Not to mention, the location itself is great — being a short walk away from the beach, pier, coffee shops and restaurants, and a short drive to Carolina Beach. 5 out of 5 stars on all fronts!

Just show up!

Great location. Quiet but close to everything. Very clean. A very short walk to the pier and beach. Plenty of parking. Plenty of room. Anything you needed to cook with was there. They supplied beach chairs, toys, towels, books, no smores sadly but there was laundry soap, dish soap, spices, washer dryer nice outdoor spaces too.

Absolutely perfect!

This was the perfect property for our family vacation and we would stay here again in a heartbeat! The property was very well appointed. Aside from food and our clothes EVERYTHING was already there. The spaces were actually nicer than the pictures. The property easily accommodated our multi-generational family of 7; our kids LOVED their room. The location was great, a very short walk to the store, restaurants, the pier and the beach. There was a minor snafu with the TV in the master bedroom, but it had zero impact on our experience. Thank you so much Melinda and Glenn!

Thanksgiving at the Pier.....

Our stay could not have been better! Great location. Beautiful home. Check-in process was easy and we received a welcome message from the owner to make sure everything was satisfactory. It was! We enjoyed our Thanksgiving by the Pier and will likely do it again next year!

Perfect Beach Getaway

The house was absolutely beautiful, incredibly spacious, and in a great location right by the beach and shops. Melinda was in touch early to make check in easy and was quick to respond to any questions, making it an effortless stay. Would absolutely rent again.

A Family paradise

The house was more than you could ask for. The owners made our stay perfect did not have to bring anything but clothes and food. They provided beach towel, toys chairs wagon to carry it to the beach. The beach is in walking distance so is shopping and dining. The homes was very clean the beds were very comforter top of the line mattresses even the linings and towels were over the top. The owners call and text to make sure you have everything. I would highly recommend this home to any family with children because they even have a room full of toys movies coloring books and games. The owners also gives you supplies for Landry, dishes and the showers. By far the house was clean neat and wonderful decorated and well supplied. Thanks to the owners this trip was very restful and fun for our children.

Location, Location, Location

We were in walking distance of restaurants, the Pier and the Beach. The house has all updated furnishings. It was very clean. Great fire pit for s’mores! Everything you need for the beach was there. I would have preferred cable in all the bedrooms not just the living area, but no biggie as we have Netflix. Has lots of space inside and a nice deck out front. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

Location was great just a block from the beach, check in process was easy, Melinda was helpful and easy to contact. Even provided things for the beach (chairs, umbrella, safety jackets). Provided supplies for s'mores which was a great treat!

Family beach trip

This house was perfect for our family. It was only a short walk to the beach and the outdoor sitting areas were great for relaxing. The owners thought of everything. It was amazing with all the little extras they provided. The kid's bedroom even had books, toys, and children movies. We had an awesome time!

Brews Bunch

This was our 1st time renting a beach house, as we were unable to get lodging at Ft Fisher where we usually stay. This property was absolutely awesome & had a good price. They provided everything we needed for the beach (chairs, umbrella, wagon), which was very convenient & saved us space & money while packing. We also met the property owners, who were working on the downstairs property & they were very friendly & accommodating to us. We look forward to staying there again !!
