Welcome to the "Peterson's Hidden Treasure Inn, Unit A" in the heart of Kure Beach. This Two-Bedroom and Two-Bathroom efficiency apartment is perfect for those who want to stay close to the pier and enjoy the raised porch that overlooks everything happening downtown. Located just beside Big Daddy's Restaurant, you'll be steps away from all the fun!

"Petersons Apt A" has one bedroom with a Queen, and one with a Pyramid Bunk (twin over full, with a trundle below). There is also a day bed in the living area, also with a trundle. The kitchen is small but efficient and will serve your family well while you’re at the beach although there is no dishwasher or washer/dryer.

Everyone will love people watching from the porch and taking in the gorgeous sunrise. You'll probably see a pod of dolphins swim by so greet them with a friendly wave. You may never want to leave; but if you do, you'll find plenty to do with shops and restaurants nearby, along with the fishing pier, the NC Aquarium and historic Fort Fisher. The beach is a short stroll across the street to the public beach access.

Stay Requirements: Flexible arrivals in summer with a minimum of 3-night stay. Minimum of 2-night stay in other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 1 Queen, 1 Twin, 1 Pyramid (Twin/Full), 2 Twin Trundles.
Parking: Assigned parking on site for 2 vehicles.
Pet Policy: No pets allowed.
Prohibited: Pets, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.
Featured Amenities: Keyless Entry, Covered Porch, Partial Ocean View, Heating and Air Conditioning*.

**Note: This home is equipped with air conditioning but does not include access to a thermostat. The temperature is left at 73 degrees and can be adjusted upon request.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund.  All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).

Bryant Real Estate, established in 1952, is a professionally operated firm that is licensed in North Carolina and hired by the property owner to manage “K164– Petersons Apt A” as a vacation rental.

Loved the stay as always. I have been staying here for many years. We did, however, see several roaches during our stay and do have video and pictures if needed. This is not something that has ever been an issue before and I am not one to complain, but it’s definitely something that needs to be addressed.

The property was in a key location amd super handy, but this wasn't a place to stay as a family. This is a unit with a permanent resident attached, so there are gatherings and other events that you can't control. The app needs to be clear that this is a unit and not a whole "home."

The location of this property was fabulous. However, there was no outside water to rinse off the sand, and when the homeowner came home and we weren’t aware of it, it startled us. Wish we had known. We’ve been sharing the front porch with them. They were very kind people and we enjoyed them, but it was startling to open the door and find somebody sitting there

Run!

This place is tiny& cramped, and NOT in good shape. We stayed one night- the bed was clean but otherwise the place felt overall gross. The floors felt “soft”, the outlets sparked when I plugged things in, the lights flickered constantly. It was an awful experience. We stayed ONE night then left - even if the weather had been great- staying here 6 days would have been unbearable. The only perks were cold ac, and location. Otherwise nothing going for it.

You guys have to updates pictures of the place, to be specific with how big is the bathroom space for heavy people And to get inside there we had to use, hard for handicap people. I didn’t know about those things before I booked. Thank you!

Never again

This is the worst place I've ever stayed. I have always used Bryant Reality and the places have been well kept and clean. This place was just dirty,piles of sand on furniture, sand on the beds,dried food in kitchen chairs, table and on floor. Nails were still sticking up on porch and inside the home. Marijuana smell coming thru the home,vents is my guess. We had 4 children with us. The 4 yo got his foot caught on the nails on porch many times,i lost count. I have never complained but this place needs to come with a warning lable. The bathrooms are so small that you cant dry or change in them. 1 bathroom is right beside the kitchen. The location is perfect but thats all this place has to offer.

Very disappointed

4 days we were left to sleep in a very hot apartment we weren’t told that the neighbor was the only one that controls the unit and they had the heat on and when they came in later Wednesday night they were rude about parking it doesn’t state in this description where to park also there was dust everywhere and dead bugs all over the floor nails sticking up out of the floor I had cut my foot twice thank goodness it wasn’t my toddlers foot

This was the perfect little place for my family's weekend getaway. The location was great, walking distance to the beach and different restaurants. The area is very quiet and relaxing, we will definitely book again next time we visit Kure beach.

Heart of the city

This is a unique apartment type of housing. You can sit on the porch and see the ocean and the heart of a Kure Beach. It’s a short walk to the pier and all things Kure. On Sundays you can go to beach church or sit and listen to it right on the porch. Be sure to visit Happy Hippies Java Hut and sip your choice beverage from your porch!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Very convenient to restaurants and in walking distance to the beach. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. FYI you may have to share the porch with the owner of the complex. He is a nice fellow and has a dog named Champ. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.
