    Dos dormitorios en la planta superior con una cama king y una cama queen, ambos con baño propio, además de un altillo en la tercera planta con una cama queen y una cama nido (2 camas individuales), amplia terraza cubierta, lavadora y secadora en el apartamento, cocina grande, situado en el punto más meridional de la isla, con estupendas instalaciones en el complejo. A un paso de dos de las playas vírgenes de la costa sur de Kauai: Poipu Beach y Shipwrecks.

    ¡La escapada familiar perfecta! El salón y el comedor son amplios y ventilados en la planta principal, así que toda tu familia se sentirá a gusto. La cocina es espaciosa, ideal para preparar comidas fabulosas, y la terraza da al océano, con unas vistas increíbles de las impresionantes puestas de sol cada noche. Ten en cuenta que este apartamento está en la tercera planta y no hay ascensor; además, una vez dentro del edificio, hay tres plantas más.

Great property and perfect location! Beds were very comfortable and the house had all the amenities we could ask for and then some. The beach items were very convenient! The host was also very responsive and accommodating. Would absolutely stay again!

Trying to find just the right place for a family of seven to stay for a week in Hawaii was daunting. The Makahuena condo popped up in a search and after researching the amenities, location, price, etc it seemed ideal…and it definitely was! It had everything we needed, and then some! The property grounds are beautiful, the location is convenient, all of the beds were comfortable, the place was clean and tidy, and the price was very affordable, which is a huge plus. The property owner/manager was very communicative and check in and check out was smooth and seamless. I would definitely recommend this place to others who have larger groups or families. Mahalo for helping to make our family’s Hawaiian vacation comfortable and wonderful.

First the negative-Property is in need of updating. Sliding glass doors were extremely difficult to close. Constant sound of wind coming through the gaps in the door. Blinds in front of sliding glass doors need to be replaced, dirty and work poorly. The interior is dimly lit and much darker than the pictures. The positiv-host was good. Extremely easy to get a hold of. Property grounds are beautiful, pool and hot tub are very nice. Grilling area was a plus. Overall it was decent but not good

The location is great! We thought the pictures didn't do the view justice. You can walk to several beaches from here. It is an older property, so there is some wear and tear and doesn't have the amenities newer resort properties. Also, fyi that the upstairs bedroom can be a bit hot to start the night out but it was perfect for our family. We appreciated the welcome package with coffee and that it had beach chairs, towels and sand toys available for use. Loved it and would definitely consider staying again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The stay was good.The only thing that needs attention is the shower curtains they were moldy and some improvement in cleaning under the couch and beds .Otherwise it was a good place to stay.

Great stay. Easy walk to the beach, plenty of room for our family of 5 (teen and adults). Great communication by property management and very reasonably priced. Also close to pool and hot tub. Definitely recommend!
