The living areas in this single-storey property consists of a kitchen/diner equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, solid-fuel stove and dining seating for four guests, a utility with fridge/freezer and a washing machine, a sitting room with TV and electric fire and a conservatory. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite bathroom, a double and two singles, one with an en-suite shower room, along with a bathroom and shower room. Outside there is a private rear patio with furniture, and off-road parking is available. Within 0.5 miles you will find a shop and within 0.4 miles, a pub and please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot and highchair are also available. Escape to Shannon View for a memorable trip to Ireland. The charging of EV cars at the property not allowed. Please note: property allows minimum of 3 night stays only.

Town: Nenagh is truly a town for all seasons. There are not too many provincial Irish towns about which you can honestly say that a weekend isn’t nearly long enough. The location was formerly a market town and its name in Irish means “The Fair of Ormond”, a reference to the Ormond Fair. Nenagh is a thriving commercial town. There are many insightful places to visit in and around Nenagh, Tipperary. Nenagh Heritage Centre is situated in two stone Georgian buildings which were built as the Governor’s House and Gatehouse of an extensive goal complex for North Tipperary. The building is placed just a short walk from Nenagh town centre. Nenagh Castle has been magnificently restored and is now open to visitors. Climb over 100 steps to the top for panoramic views of the surrounding areas. Keeper Hill is the highest mountain in the Silvermines area and the 117th highest in Ireland. Don't miss the tribute to Olympians, and find out what's going on in Nenagh Arts Centre to keep you entertained during your stay. Walking tours of the town are also available by a local tour guide. Adventure further afield by car, bicycle or hiking and you'll discover the tranquil Lough Derg, the rolling hills and the welcoming people of Tipperary.

From the minute we stepped foot into this property, we felt at home. We were met with sparkling clean accommodations, breathtaking views, a bowl of fruit on the table, and coffee and teabags in the counter! The rooms were all comfortable and attractive, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, tea pots, coffee press, sugar, spices, etc. We had a wonderful holiday at Shannon View, and recommend it highly!
