This seaside cottage is known for pure comfort with a casual, yet thoughtful, interior decor. Proximity to the recreation center is a bonus for sporting families. All bedrooms have private baths. Spacious sundecks and the porch swing on the lower deck offers enjoyment for all generations. 295 yards to beach access.

Qué hay en los alrededores

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Great vacation house

Great location, short walk to beach access. Everyone enjoyed having access to the clubhouse with fitness room, indoor and outdoor pool as well as the oceanfront pool. Mattresses could use an upgrade at some point.

Loved it!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Our Legacy. The location, comfort, and price can't be beat in my opinion. Our teenagers loved having their own rooms with private bathrooms. They could easily bike or walk to the beach, pools, restaurants, and shopping whenever they wanted which allowed independence for them and let us have a break from driving them everywhere during this vacation! Loved having Schooner Ridge amenity access. The property is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. Very clean! Kitchen is fully stocked with essentials. We cooked/grilled most of the week and weren't missing anything. Two decks: 1st level is gated, 2nd level is not gated. Lots of seating on both deck levels and inside the house. Hot tub was warm when we arrived. All showers have good water pressure and hot water for days. "Good beds" are relative... we're getting old and everything hurts so I can't comment, but the kids liked them if that helps. Sheets, blankets, and pillows are light so bring your own if needed. Southern Shores was great to work with throughout. We would definitely stay here and rent from them again. All of our inquiries were responded with quick communication and service - big thanks to Karen!
