Pillows were the thinnest ever, bed was incredibly hard, hard a bad stench, chair and ottoman were stained and sticky, shower head was broken and would barely stay up, homeless was in and out, a fire alarm was going off for close to 18 hours, and there was a mass arrest by the police

I honestly cannot understand how this hotel is being offered to paying guests. Our first room was absolutely FILTHY. There was a chair in the room that was so disgusting it looked like it belonged in the garbage, not in a hotel room. The bedding was filthy as well, and the overall condition of the room immediately made us question whether anything had actually been cleaned. To his credit, the gentleman working there did try to help us and showed us other rooms. Unfortunately, it was basically choosing between one unacceptable room and another. Every room we were shown had issues. But NOTHING topped that first room. It was beyond nasty. When you pay for a hotel room, the absolute bare minimum should be CLEAN bedding, CLEAN furniture, and a room you feel comfortable sleeping in. We didn’t even feel comfortable putting our faces on the bedding. Expedia seriously needs to inspect this property and reconsider having it listed on their website. The pictures online do not prepare you for what we encountered. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. Unless you want to spend your stay wondering what might be crawling around, what you’re sleeping on, or what you’re taking home with you, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I wouldn’t stay here for free.

The staff who checked me in was very nice and very helpful over the process took an inordinately long time. They were confused about the kind of room I had booked and my request to be on the first floor. I had to ask for extra towels and extra toilet paper the room was one of the dirtiest rooms I have ever seen in my eyes. There was pubic hair on the bedspread and in the shower area.

The building is being renovated so things should look better after that. I had a fridge and microwave in my room so that's a plus. Free wifi. For the price, the hotel was acceptable.

Great Value - Great Location

If you are looking for a low price and good location this is THE place to go. The staff was very friendly and the price was right. I don't care to pay for pools, gyms, breakfast, etc. When I travel I just like a place to crash in a good location and that's what you will get here.

Horrible conditions! Depressing. Dirty

I had read reviews and figured they must have fired what was needing attention. It was worse. Broken drawers. Not continental breakfast. No guest shampoo. Dirty smelling bedding. Carpet disgusting. Dank and dreary lobby , room and stairway to second floor carpeting worn and tired. Smelled like smoke and stale. No elevator.

Ok to pass up

The hotel area was nice and the hotel it's self was ok. My husband and I were surprised by the smell of smoke in the hotel. The hotel should really desperate the non smoking and smoking rooms better. The bed was really stiff as well. We probably wouldn't stay here again but would stay in the city again.
