Top Level: Great room with a flat-screen TV, kitchen with counter seating for 4 and dining room seating 6 with deck access. Queen Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV/DVD and private bathroom, Queen Bedroom with a flat-screen TV/DVD, Bedroom with 2 Singles and flat-screen TV and a full hallway bathroom.

Extras: 4 TVs, 2 DVD players, charcoal grill, enclosed outside shower, parking for 6 vehicles, books and games, high chair, high speed internet access, pack-n-play and picnic table. No Smoking. No Pets. Seasonal Flex Stay available from October 1 - May 15. Beds: 2 Queens, 2 Singles. House Address: 501 W. Sothel Street, Kill Devil Hills. Key Type: Keyless entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 3719 N Croatan Hwy, Kitty Hawk Office.

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

This property does not provide beach chairs.

Nasty

Upon arrival the house looked decent after about 5 minutes with your shoes off your feet will be black I had twin newborns crawling around we took a mop and cleaned it the best we could and you still can’t walk around with no socks on over all it was nasty oh and if you get it because the washer and dryer think again the washer sounds like it’s going to come through the house

Obx trip

It really wasn't bad walking to the beach, we had a wonderful week. It wasn't to close to a busy area or to far away to walk with children, thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the stay.

OBX honey bee hive

The house was nice on the inside, but the crows nest and the main porch needs to be re-done. The crows nest staircase was shaky and felt unsafe. Main porch had nails sticking up, boards were lose and spongy, it was rough

Honeybee hive house

This was a wonderful rental for my family. It was very clean and comfortable for us. Close to everything and convenient for short walks to the sound side to watch sunsets. I would definitely recommend this property to others who are looking to visit the outer banks.

Nice house perfect for a family of 5. I enjoyed its location not far from the beach and just a few houses from the sound. Great for exercising in the early morning. I enjoyed the small grill next to the stairs as well. Great place to stay for a relaxing getaway.

It “stank” at times!

First thing we noticed was the large amount of spider webs around the carport/laundry room/outside showers. New wood on steps to front door was nice, but rest of deck & observation platform needs new wood, with nail heads sticking up in multiple places! On first night we got a whiff of something bad, but weren’t sure if it was coming in from the bay or somewhere else- well Sunday night we saw that our septic tank was overflowing. Reported it 1st thing Monday morning & it wasn’t taken care of until @ noon on Friday. All week we smelled septic overflow & couldn’t use the rooftop deck to sun or star watch because of the smell. I really should have called the local county to report it since the owner & realtor (Brindley Beach) didn’t seem too concerned. Definitely won’t use that realtor again, & not sure if we will use VRBO in the future because of this.

Beach

The house was a block away from the beach but it was on a main highway so you couldn't walk to it. I contacted the rental company on the 1st night about a problem and never heard from them.
