From sunrise to sunset, this comfortable soundfront getaway will captivate you with the many moods and colors of the beautiful Albemarle Sound.

On a quiet street in gated Colington Harbor, this 3 bedroom home offers many amenities including a, fully equipped kitchen with custom cabinetry and granite counter tops and a master bath with soaking tub and separate tiled shower. The master suite features its own private deck with panoramic views of the sound and historic Roanoke Island in the distance. There are two other bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with one double and one twin, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a screened in porch, ceiling fans and more relaxing sound front decking with a picnic table and wooden Adirondack furniture.

In addition, the house has a firepit with adirondack chairs and its own private dock with a bench for fishing, crabbing, swimming or just enjoying the spectacular views of the sound.

Sorry, no motorized boats are allowed. Kayaks and canoes are welcome.

I loved the are and location was great, but the cleanliness of house wasn't

We did enjoy the location, staying on the water was wonderful. Tge back deck is fantastic! But I wish the house was better cleaned, there was so much dust on lamps and in corners, m&ms and chips under couch (not from us). Dirty bathroom sinks and floors were very disappointing. The mattress in master was super hard causing alot of back pain during week. We were very sad with these issues. I wouldn't stay here again. It could have been a great house but living room furniture is dated and uncomfortable, mattresses need to be replaced. Its is disappointing to spend a good amount of money for motel quality furniture and interior. Management company is very good when we called with questions about how to lock the trickey doors.

House was great but a few issues

We loved the house, especially the porch and dock. Did not realize linens were not included due to my own overlooking but at this price linens should be included. House was not clean when we got there but called emergency number after hours and they sent cleaning crew right away. They said they do not wash the comforters (gross), but they cleaned pretty decent. Lots of dust caked everywhere, needs deep cleaning. Also the doorknob came off on the back porch. We called on Monday to get it fixed but wasn't fixed before we left (Saturday). Also be aware pool is a driving distance of about 5 mins.

Great house with a great location

We had an easy check in with great instructions and directions. Arrived with no trouble and settled right in, the kitchen is well appointed and loaded with extras. We had a small issue with the upstairs bathroom but it was immediately addressed and fixed first thing the following morning. Sitting on the porch drinking coffee and wwtching the birds catch fish was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful vacation stay!

Wonderful

We had a really great time. We loved being able to sit at the water and fish off the dock. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. It was in the middle of everything we wanted to do. One of our favorite things was going to see the lighthouses. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic week in OBX

The house was wonderful, clean and spacious for our party of five. The view of the water was absolutely breathtaking, we loved sitting on the deck in the early morning, looking out over the waves. A week was not enough time for all of our adventures; beginner hang gliding at Jockey Ridge; kayaking at Bodie Island; an afternoon at H2OBX water park, and the community pool and tennis courts were a plus. We loved the house and the Outer Banks were fantastic.

Immaculate View

The pictures don’t do this property justice. Rooms were spacious. Deck needs some TLC. The views were incredible. Floating in the sound was very relaxing and it was a nice surprise that the sandbar made it easy to touch bottom even 30 ft away from the dock. Kitchen had everything you need. Would definitely stay here again.

Rhodoms Point Great View!

Right on the Sound. Quiet- one night (at 2 AM) I could distinctly hear the ocean breakers 3+ mi. away. Good location for stargazing - lounge chairs provided. 10 mins by car to Hwy 158. 10 mins and 15 seconds to Slice Pizza. Yum! (I don't work for them...) Home comfortable and well-supplied. We look forward to a return trip!

Comfortable home in quiet neighborhood!!

We found the home to be as advertised with plenty of room for two couples. We visited Billy's fish market and found them to be very helpful. We dined at the Colington cafe one evening and found everything to be excellent, recommend you visit them. We enjoyed the area and plan to return after the pandemic is over.

Soundside retreat

We had a great vacation at this property! It was spacious and well cared for. We enjoyed the porch and fishing deck the most at the home. The community pool is very nice and the sandy sound area for swimming was a big hit with the kids. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place!

This property is everything we hoped for! Great views, great layout, beds are comfy, kitchen had all of what we needed etc! The decks were amazing, only downside was the amount of bugs but I think that’s just thing in OBX seems we noticed it a lot at various business also. We don’t remember having that many bugs last time we visited 5 years ago but on the plus side the bugs were just there they didn’t bite!
